The pool and leisure facilities were great. We also enjoyed an evening meal and the breakfast was delicious.

The pool is lovely and had a little lazy river which my son loved. Staff are excellent and the breakfast was delicious

Bed was a bit soft for my preference

Extra large bed. Leisure facilities. Close to Gloucester. Lounge area. Breakfast. Separate times for children to use the pool. Chef came out to check that everything was satisfactory at breakfast

Paying to park. It’s possible to park on the street to save £5 a night . Late opening of leisure facilities didn’t give much time to swim before breakfast finished. Pool area metalwork rusty.

No nutella for breakfast. Something for youngsters in yhe evening like a pool table would be good.

Food tasted good for breakfast and dinner

The service at dinner was extremely slow. I waited 30 minutes for my drink and ended up collecting it myself from the bar because despite reminding the staff no one brought me the drink. I waited a very long time to place my order for dinner. The staff kept walking past me and serving others who had come in after me and every time i tried to ask they ignored me. When i did order the food i waited between 45-60 minutes for it to come. I stayed two nights and i decided to eat elsewhere the following night. I have booked this hotel on a weekly basis throughout november and december but i am considering not booking anymore because i'm not getting corporate rates nor any decent service.

We were in room 228. The shower has very little water coming out of the showerhead. The knob converting water from bath to shower came off. Hotel fixed it promptly when reported however very difficult to still have a shower. There was no way I could wash and rinse hair in shower due to lack of power. I had to take the hose of the hook to rinse my body. Very poor. The shower makes your stay however me and my two sisters found this difficult and unusable.

The breakfast was decent just didnt like the fact that the kids swim time is basically right as you are finishing breakfast if you get there right at half 7.

The room was ok did ask for rooms to be close together and then they was on different floors and then upon arriving i found out that there was a rather big function going on, got into bed (1 closed door away from function) could feel the walls vibrating and still hear the music like it was playing in my room so spoke to the staff that were on and I go an unapologetic "oh sorry it will stop at 11" and then the music continues to blast till gone half 11 and then from 11.45 till gone 12 you have the guests screaming and shouting all they way down the hallway and stamping up the stairs (which were right at my head board).

Clean, friendly staff, restaurant meals of a good quality.

Rooms a bit dated. No USB sockets and no accessible power sockets near bed. Make your take USB cable plugs with you.

No problem at all with the hotel. However, booking.com clearly allowed my personal details to be hacked and I immediately fell victim to an attempt scam. I am now waiting for a replacement credit card. Booking.com seemingly is failing to stem the number of these data breaches, as reported online [and investigated this year by 'Which?'], The storage of personal data by this company is obviously secure.

Lovely warm room, good breakfast choice nice location

Shower took for ever to get warm, and unsure which way to turn the tap to increase temperature

The hotel was lovely with good facilities. The staff were amazing and really looked after us, sorting any issues out quickly. Will definitely return for another stay 😀

Extremely uncomfortable bed. Cobwebs and spider in room. Cold water in bathroom. Room unserviced. We claimed a free drink as per the card in the room for reusing our towels. We didn't think that meant the room wasn't serviced. Dirty toilet. Mouldy grout. Mouldy shower curtain. All reported to reception. Nothing was done. Reading light couldn't be used if the main light was on.

Swimming pool and sauna were ok but you had to walk down a long corridor.

Took a single room where the mattress must have been 30 years old. When I told the girl in the morning she just glazed over and blanked me.

Food and drink at the hotel was very expensive. Accessibility to the room, restaurant and particularly into the swimming pool needs to be addressed.

The jacuzzi type pools were cold, was expecting to be warmer. The park situated behind the hotel was not very safe, potential muggings take place as witnessed ourselves on the Friday we were there.

Location was good. Daily cleaning.

Noise from other rooms and corridors. Extra pay for parking. Pool is not maintained and floor was sandy or dirty. Child cut his foot somewhere in the pool. Seems like facilities not maintained properly. Staff is confused if food was included or not which it was but not on the system, wanted to charge full price. However they still asked to pay for childs meal which is odd. Maybe manager needs to sort of internal processes

The staff were pleasant, helpful, smiley and welcoming. The chef greeted me in the morning and asked how the breakfast was. Very nice atmosphere and it’s clear they work very hard.

The facilities and standard are reflected in the price you pay. I was sadly placed in room 126 down a corridor where I’m guessing a service entry was as all I heard all night was doors banging and slamming open and shut. The hotel is a bit outdated and needs a few uplifts to the bathroom in particular.
