Good for a good nights sleep.

Bed was great for comfort. Despite hearing noise from other rooms when in corridor, once inside the room it was quiet.

A separate desk and chair as when I used my laptop for work I had to sit on the bed.

Great comfortable and quiet for a one nighter

The chap that let us in was very lovely and helpful and made sure we had a quiet room. Everything was perfectly adequate with the room and the beds were nice and comfortable

do not go there as they have thieves working there,

the price,the bed was comfortable

no mattress protector on the bed,the skirting boards were very dusty.in the bathroom there wasn’t a cover on the light and bare wires exposed,the tiling in the shower and on the floor was stained with god knows what.i accidentally left a bag of clothes in the room,i sent an email via booking.com and didn’t get a contact number untill the evening and of course as it was boxing day there was no-one there to answear the phone.managed to get through to someone today but the chap on the phone told me that nothing had been handed in so someone there has stolen it !!!

Comfy Christmas stay.

Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Every request attended to, without any fuss. Close to sons house. Parking off road available.

Some things missing from room and had to request them: Only one cup No coat hangers. No hairdryer.

Don't stay here

This is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. I spend two nights a week in hotels for work and this was just awful, dirty, grubby and unpleasant. I actually checked out a night early, even though I had paid for it for two nights, and friends let me stay at their hotel instead.

The shower, although filthy, was powerful. Bed linen and towels were clean.

Room was tatty and tired.paint coming off walls, whole room was dusty and grubby. Bathroom was disgusting with bits on the floor and someone else's hair around the plug hole. Shower adjuster was broken. Remote control for tv not working properly. Noise throughout the night, either plumbing or shouting outside.

Absolutely nothing very poor on all fronts

Hotel didn't have a sign which matched the booking. We were looking for a OYO hotel but it had Go2. It was called the Orchard Hotel which wasn't mentioned on booking.com. We spent 45 looking for it. The lift wasn't working. The rooms were AWLFUL. Dirty, no headboards, stains. the shower was disgusting. There was something vile wiped on the wall by the TV. The bed had black bits in (hope it was fluff). Even the rooms were badly numbered 40 next to 60. I was so embarrassed as I booked to stay with my parents and their room was so bad. There wasn't anywhere in their room to hang up your clothes. It was like a very bad student digs but we paid £70 per room. They did move us to a 'deluxe room' which was slightly better but still grim. I took all my belongings back to the car because I didn't want to put anything down. My car had a beer bottle stood up under the front tyre when I left in the morning. Booking.com should not be sending anyone here.

Needs renovating

The receptionist was very friendly and accommodating. Showed me several rooms as the room we were allocated was dirty and felt like dog.

The property is very tired and run down, needs to have a complete overhaul. The bedroom and bathroom weren't clean.

A very disappointing hotel

The location was fine for where I needed to be the following morning.

On arrival, at around 11pm, the doors were locked and I had to phone the number on the door, and wait for around five minutes before I was granted access. From memory, at the time of booking there was no mention of a car parking charge, yet when I was filling out some paperwork at the reception desk, I was told it would be £8 to park the car. A bit of a rip off. Once in the room, which was very basic, I briefly put my hand on the "wardrobe" and it moved so much that it almost collapsed due to its flimsiness/poor construction.

The room was very tired looking, the tv wasnt smart and had no aerial plugged into it making it only decoration, the room was poorly cleaned, the only cup had lipstick still on it from a previous drinker. The lift was out of order, and the banister on the stairs wasnt safe at all, which as I was a disabled guest that had been put on the 3rd floor, this made it hard for me to leave the room until check out. The walls had a lot of marks on them, the furniture had a lot of damage.

A sleepless night in a dirty, smelly room, with unbearable noise and zero intervention from staff — the worst hotel expe

Initially, the price. But after this experience, I wouldn’t stay here again even if it were free.

The room was in terrible condition: dirty, dusty, with a foul smell coming from an old, poorly maintained carpet. The night was even worse — from 11 p.m. until 6 a.m., a loud and chaotic party took place inside the hotel, making it absolutely impossible to sleep. Toward the end, it even sounded like a violent incident was occurring. I should have called the police. The staff were fully aware of what was happening yet did absolutely nothing. It is shocking that Booking.com allows this kind of establishment to remain on its platform.
