Lovely house in a quiet location. Very nice breakfast. Very comfortable room

We were slightly disappointed that the hot tub was temporarily unavailable, as that might have been fun. Not a big issue.

I was there so briefly that I cannot offer many comments - but it gave me what I most needed - a quiet, private space to rest between two days of work. Being able to organise my own breakfast from a range of wholesome things was also just right.

Kate was extremely helpful with local information and explaining about breakfast the room etc.A very comfortable nights sleep.

The host Kate was very pleasant , Room very warm and cosy, bed was very comfortable . Would defiantly recommend 5 stars from me

From arrival and for the entirety of my stay I felt welcomed, relaxed and comfortable. The garden room although the smaller room isn’t small, it’s so quiet and peaceful but yet only 10 min walk to town. The breakfast was nourishing and homemade and I loved the option to come down to the kitchen /dining room to enjoy when it worked for me. Kate is Friendly and conversational but happy to leave you too it. She has loads of info on the area too. Will definitely stay again if coming to stroud.

The bathroom was shared with another room. This was mentioned on the website but wasn’t very obvious. Having said that, it wasn’t really a problem. Good hot shower.

I needed a place to sleep before working on a Sunday as a volunteer for a charity fundraiser. Considering the price was in the Travelodge range for a Saturday night, this was an exceptional experience, given that I wanted a quite night in to set-up my camera equipment.

Nothing. I was warned about the street parking, and it did not present a problem, either arriving or departing. Superior experience all round, and there was nothing to complain about.

The lady who ran the B and B was very nice and friendly. The B and B was lovely and the room very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious.

Everything to see is beautiful, everything to eat is really good. And so much comfort! The room is quite large, the bed is real good. And Kate is so kind and thoughtful. There is everything you need and all of that is just a short walk away from the rail station! Perfect!

Cosy, clean lovely location

Double bed was quite small as we are used to a king size bed, lovely big room so plenty of space for a bigger bed.

Such a beautiful house and garden. The room was very comfortable and everything we could have needed was thought of. We loved the breakfast especially the home made granola and preserves, delicious! Thank you for an exceptional stay.

Nothing could have been better. We hope to stay again sometime.

Kate’s place was so charming and comfortable! The personal touches of art, decor and welcoming whimsy made us feel totally at ease and at home. This is a true BnB, with delicious breakfast provided and all the amenities you could need. What a special stay. We hope to return again and would highly recommend!!

Kate was a great host and she tried to do her best to make me feel comfortable. I'll definitely come back once I come back to Stroud.

the room was lovely everything we needed was there and the bed was really comfortable. lovely views of the garden and scenery beyond. Breakfast was lovely with homemade bread and jams and preserves. It was really easy arriving to the property and we were met by one of the lovely staff who showed us around and went through everything.

Absolutely nothing to dislike.

No lock on bathroom door. It was not the problem as we were the only guests but had we had to share the bathroom it would have been a different case.

Hot tub and very comfortable bed!

the stay was to say the lest very different than ever experienced, and I'm sure a great place for youngsters, unfortunately not having a walk in shower limits it has a holiday stay, we used my sisters home to shower. however this would not be of any consequence to younger people, but Kate was a great host, but accommodation not suitable for anyone with age or disability problems.

Such a lovely lady, very warm and welcoming the hot tub at the bottom of the garden is lovely. Beautiful views felt like Home from Home would definitely recommend.

Kate is the perfect host, I received a very warm welcome and a great place to stay of the night. Everything spotlessly clean, all the facilities you require, great advice on the local area.

Everything I needed and more, even epsom salts for a much needed bath. Room lovely, bed comfy and lovely linen and thoughtful touches like a bath robe and biscuit with tea making facilities in room and up to date magazines to read.. breakfast was wonderful. homemade sourdough and water kefir and I could do breakfast in my own timing. very beautiful home space and Kate very friendly and helpful.

Lovely big old property & huge garden space with a hot tub, although I think an additional charge of £30 is a little steep which put us off using it, if it had been nite reasonable then we’d definitely have used it! Nice homemade granola & sourdough toast & marmalade for breakfast.

Great big bedrooms although I think in the second back bedroom, this would benefit from a king size bed. Also I think Kate should get a key safe fitted as this would be a much safer option & we found ourselves locked out on our return from the pub & unfortunately had to ring the doorbell.

Perfect location for my needs. (Attending a course around the corner). Stayed in a lovely large bedroom, with amazing heating and natural light. Breakfast necessities readily available and accommodating to all potential needs. The homemade, cosy feel that created is amazing and thorough; only detracted by the cleanliness-How can it feel like home, yet be so clean?! Decorated tastefully, but not sparce. (Absolute selling point for me!) Kate was very friendly and approachable. A wonderful, mutli-talented host, whose extra care is shown through the homemade sourdough, jams, and fresh milk for my tea addiction! I particularly enjoyed the bath, it was a huge selling point for me. But I will return for the serenity and peace. Lovely break, even if it was for a work course. Thank you, Kate! I wish I could have stayed longer once I arrived; I was originally worried about negotiating the shared bathroom, but I left feeling so revitalised and relaxed. It was not an issue, with Kate's dutiful care and communication, I felt safe in the shared environment. If I were nitpicking, maybe I was expecting more storage space for clothes, etc (though, living out of a suitcase was perfectly agreeable and hardly a hardship).
