Overpriced at £200-300 per night

Location was perfect

Decor was old, no carpets, woodwork paint was chipped. Toilet want clean, room was cold, soundproofing from the square outside was nonexistent. Breakfast was barely adequate for what they charged for it

Great Suite, Family friendly, Great Location.

We paid extra for a suite with a separate bedroom. The suite was spacious with a lovely balcony overlooking part of the Christmas Market which was such a lovely surprise! We travelled with a toddler. A travel cot, and bedding was supplied, the room was perfect for our needs and being able to keep toddler separate to settle. Location was perfect we were never more than 10minutes walk away from anything we wanted to get to.

The decor is slightly run down, some doors were a bit loose on cupboards. Also slightly dated. But it wad all clean and this didn't bother us for a short trip. Beds were firm - I slept really well though but my partner didn't.

Location perfect and great staff

The location was very close to the train station and only 5 minute walk from the main square and major attractions. Staff gave us an upgrade that was very much appreciated (and very kind). The room was clean and modern and we appreciated the toiletries. Staff allowed us to store our luggage.

We weren't allowed to check in early but it was worth the wait because we were given an upgrade

I lost the trust in NH hotel groups

Amazing location

My experience was disappointing from start to finish. During check-in, I informed Ms. Carla that I needed a late check-out until 5 p.m. due to a delayed flight, and she agreed. But the next day, the reception staff refused to honor it, claiming no confirmation existed. They even said no rooms were available, although one was showing on Booking.com. Breakfast was very basic, and when the coffee machine stopped working, no one came to fix it initially.Check-in was also delayed as they couldn’t find my booking for about 15 minutes. The only positive point was that they eventually extended my check-out until 1 p.m., though I left by 11:15 a.m. and moved to another hotel nearby. Overall, service was unprofessional, and I won’t be staying here again.

The staff

Very noisy room. You wake in the middle of the night or too early in the morning. Suggestion: Change the window pane to a more sound proof one and you are done. Staying there for over 10 days made the breakfast quite boring.

Good location but disappointed with the additional cost

I choose this hotel because of its location, parking and the fact dogs were allowed. Unfortunately I found out that the parking was against additional cost. Same for my pet. On the Booking.com site it says pets are allowed but it doesn't tell you that you need to pay an additional 35 Euro. After my reservation I sent a mail to the NH hotel to ask for additional info with regards to the parking and the pet. I never received an answer. Only at the hotel this information was shared with me. In the meantime around 15 automatically generated messages from Booking.com and NH hotel. Really unprofessional and overkill of information which is not needed. So overall the hotel ended up nog toe be 229 euro but 300 euro per night because of the hidden cost. If the hotel would have answered my mail I could have made a different choice. Also Booking.com should specifiy these additional cost and not promote a hotel with parking and pets allowed whilst these services are provided only against additional cost.

Wonderful location but manage your expectations for it being a 4 star hotel, It's a solid 3 star.

The hotel location was perfect. It was a great hotel but definately not a 4 start hotel. It's a solid 3 star. The bed was comfortable and had everything you need. Water pressure was great.

The common areas like hallways and elevators are very old and not particularly clean. I would expect for a 4 star hotel water and coffee would be replenished automatically and it wasn't.

Would stay there again!

Excellent location within easy walking distance from central train station. Very friendly and helpful staff. Font desk helped with tourist questions and printed out directions to the African museum with all the stops and transfer from a metro to tram. Wonderful breakfast from 7-10 AM. Excellent counter space on bathroom lavatory to keep personal items. Had very quite room facing the back of the hotel. The front faces a busy square. Air conditioning worked well.

The mattress was not very comfortable but I got used to it.

Overall good!

Location is great! The hotel is conveniently located near the central railway station and the city centre. Breakfast is nice, the staff is helpful, and everything you need for a short-term stay is available.

The toilet paper holder was broken in the suite room, the glasses were dirty, and there was no hot water on the day of departure.

Good location for a first trip to Brussels by train

The location is excellent for the station and main sites, and the view is stunning, particularly at sunset. The breakfast had lots of choice.

The AC didn’t work properly. We left the window open. There is a lot of noise from the square.

We were warm welcome to the hotel by Caroline at the reception. Great location, a short walk to Grand Place and Brussels Central Station.

Exceptional customer service; amazing location

Location was terrific (very close to the Grand Place); the staff exceptional. They were super helpful to provide rooms for another night, arranging an early morning taxi, and offering alternative plans when our flight out was canceled unexpectedly. I can't say enough about their wonderful customer service.

The square out front can be loud with music in the evenings.

I was accommodated on the first level, next to the elevator and I could hear the noise from the hallway = it was like there was no door!!! I booked 2 rooms, traveling with my family and unfortunately even though I asked for rooms on the same level = I received different floors

Excellent central location. Breakfast was very good - lots of choice and good value. Staff very efficient and helpful. Room very comfortable (although too hot).

There appeared to be a bar but it was closed. Not sure if it ever opens - maybe only seasonable? Details of opening on the website would be useful. My room was quite hot but I don't like having air conditioning on during the night - quilt was thick so a separate sheet would be appreciated.

A decent hotel stained by a bad experience with the staff.

The hotel is good overall. It's very well-located, and the room is comfortable.

Even as a guest, I was prevented from accessing public areas of the hotel by two different people, which I have believe was due to racism. At some point, even after I told the receptionist I was a guest, she doubted it. At another moment, I was sitting in the lobby chair and was rudely asked to leave by a worker who later prevented me from going to the restroom.

Absolutely not value for money

Don't be misled by the pictures. I am given a superior room on the attic floor, with two small windows. When I questioned the mismatch with the good-looking pictures in booking.com, the reception said none of the superior rooms face the Grand Place. That means the pictures that come with the superior room category in the website are false! Or is the staff member trying to dismiss my query? I ended up staying in a gloomy attic room for five nights. Decor is dated, room has an old smell; toilet seat is shaky; and air-con is also weak.

Superb

location directly in the city center, next to the Brussels central station, delicious breakfast, and cozy balcony. Kind receptionist accommodated us before the official check in hours, which was great

sometimes a bit nozy, but the hotel is located in the center, so it was something you can expect to happen
