Very comfortable and great staff

As this was an extra night booked separately from a preceding work stay, we asked if it was possible to stay in the same room instead of having too switch rooms when switching from one booking to the next. While this has always been possible on previous stays here, it unfortunately did not work out this time. However, when we got down to the reception on the day of the switch, Alain and Sara was very happy to announce that they had a arranged something for us to make up for the inconvenience. They gave us new key cards and a room number on the top floor while not spoiling the surprise of which room it was. While it was clear at this point that we would have been upgraded to a suite, we were still very surprised indeed when we saw that we had been given the Presidential suite. The King rooms have always been quite comfortable at this hotel, but this upgrade of course made the stay all the more relaxing. A very big thank you to Alain and Sara for going above and beyond to arrange this surprise for us.

Being upgraded to the Presidential suite meant more space to look through to make sure we didn't forget anything before checking out. This is very much a luxury problem to have though, so we're not complaining at all. :D

Extremely disappointed for a Hilton Hotel in a capital city.

Room was clean

Reception desk personnel were negligent. Streetlights shone into room during the night, and heavy curtains couldn’t be pulled sideways enough to block the light. For 256€, the room could have included a small bottle of mineral water.

I was rather disappointed with my stay at the Hilton Brussels. The breakfast was quite basic and below the standard I would normally expect from a Hilton property. Overall, the facilities felt more like those of an average hotel, nothing close to the quality and attention to detail I have experienced at Hilton hotels over the years. What surprised me the most was that, despite being a Hilton customer for nearly 25 years and booking an executive room, an additional amount was still blocked on my card. This is not the level of service I anticipated from a brand I’ve been loyal to for so long.

It’s so convenient by Central Station for both the railway and metro. It’s just one stop from the Eurostar terminal. Easy walking distance for the main sights of the city and the shops. Great location

Perfect location, some rooms need updating

Location is perfect for day trips, opposite Central station and close to Grand Place. Room was available early at midday and breakfast had a nice range available. We asked for a quiet room, which we was given at the back of the hotel on second floor.

Bed headboard had old stain marks and the room furniture was quite dated. The bathroom shower doors did not seal properly, so water could flood easily. For the expensive room rate and 4 stars, i expected better, but the room itself was spacious, bed comfortable and modern bathroom. Mostly a very good hotel, but some rooms need updating, or they should be cheaper.

The hotel was in a good central location and was nice and clean overall. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room met our needs.

Disappointing.

The hotel took a security desposit which they said would be refunded after check-out. At the time of check-out, the receptionist said all was ok and the amount would be transferred back to my card. As per my bank statement, the hotel has deducted £29 from the security deposit. I had called the hotel to ask about it - after almost 20 minutes of waiting i was connected to the reception where i was given an email address to write to. Thw hotel still hasnt gotten back to me on my email re: the deduction. Firstly, they dont even have the courtesy to inform the guest as to why the deduction has taken place but to not even answer to the email is just poor service. This was not expected from a brand like Hilton.

Very jaded , tired rooms. Chipped furniture . Headboard with a pen mark on it and worn areas. Bathroom didn’t smell particularly fresh and there was an old piece of toilet paper on the floor next to the toilet .

Breakfast as expected, but not more. Face-to-face with Brussel Central station. No more pluses in the end.

Check-In-Situation completely messed up, had to queue up for 20 minutes. No reaction on my questions before traveling there. A lot of the furniture and equipment worn out. Dirty carpets, dirty furniture, some stuff already broken. Only a few of the employees motivated and professional. Lounge service not as expected. Way overpriced and overrated.

This hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Brussels, close to great restaurants/attactions.

I pick this hotel because of the proximity to downtown activities and Central Station. It is really convenient to walk off the train and the hotel is right there.

Coming from the U.S., the flights arrive early in the morning. By the time I get to the hotel, I have been up for almost 24hours, so naturally I asked for an early check-in. I thought being a Hilton Honors member, they might be able to get me into a room before the normal 1500 check in. I even contacted them prior to travel day. Unfortunately, no early check in. To make matters worse, lobby seating is very limited, so finding a place to camp out till check in was impossible.

Disappointed-normally I enjoy staying at Hilton but not this one

The location was excellent. It was near to all the tourist places and shops. It is opposite to the main train station.

The housekeeping was not existence. The previous guest used up the sugars and cream and left the empty sachets back in the box but housekeeping never threw those out and replaced. It makes you wonder whether they clean anything at all. The lighting in room was bad , maybe they don't want the guest to spot any dirt. When they do come into the room for housekeeping , they misplaced the TV remote. Then hotel staff then made it sound as if you steal it. They charged me again for the rooms without telling and only found out about it when I got my credit card statement despite the staff said there was no charges when I check-out. I already pre-paid but Hilton did refund me the money when I contacted them.

GREAT Brussels Downtown Hotel - So Convenient!

We live not far from Brussels and often spend overnights in the city for concerts and other special events. We loved staying in this hotel. It's right across from Brussels Centraal Train and Metro Station and it's barely a 5-minute walk from the Grand Place, so it's perfectly situated for anyone visiting the city. We had awesome blackout curtains, and despite it being PRIDE weekend / all of the associated partying and parades, our room was cool, comfortable, and quiet. We will definitely be staying here again!

Rundown rooms unlike the pictures they’ve put on the website. housekeeping staff barely stocked the room with tea / coffee. The staff came over with chocolates and an apology which was sweet but doesn’t really do much for the run down rooms. At checkout the gentleman helping out was a little rude. Felt like I was only paying for the brand
