Ideal for a short stay in the city.

Location location location! Right in the centre surrounded by restaurants.

Good, but could have beeb great with some small improvements

The position is excellent, walking distance to the main attractions in the center and near the station. The staff is also very informative and very helpful

The cleanliness of the rooms can and should be improved. For example we had a sticky stain on the table upon arrival and the pillows were all a bit dirty with strange marks or stains on them. Nothing major, we stayed for 3 nights and we only noticed in the last one. Also the carpet was stained all over, normal floor would be so much easier to clean. In the hallway there was a piece of bread that stayed in the same position for 2 days. With just a little effort more the score would be so much higher, the potential is all there.

Great stay near Grand-Place

This hotel is a bit no-frills as far as the rooms go but you cannot beat the location. It is a short walk from the train station and literally footsteps from Grand-Place. If you want to experience Winter Wonders or spend a lot of time in Grand-Place or the Central Quarter, this hotel is a great choice. It is close to many shops, restaurants, landmarks, and museums.

Like I said above, the rooms were comfortable yet basic and no-frills. I didn’t mind but if you prefer a fancier hotel, this is not for you.

Lovely boutique hotel right smack in Grand Place

It is a short walk from Metro. There are lots of accommodation much nearer to the train station. Housekeeping shld have topped up drinking water daily.

Nice hotel, good location.

Room was spacious but on too levels. Bed was up very steep staircase so it was just as well we were fit.

The breakfast was nice but very cold both days. We had to ask for food to be topped up.

Great location, bed was good and had a lovely view

The shower was awful, barely any water pressure and it was either burning hot or freezing (no middle ground). The sink was useless as was the mirror an lighting for makeup in the mornings and the only place to hang towels was over the toilet which I personally find bad hygiene.

Don't bother with this place, there are better hotels in Brussels.

Location was great. Close to the Grand Place as well as other areas within the city we planned to visit. The reception was pleasant and each person working the desk was friendly. That was about it.

First and foremost, the rooms were very hot. We called down to get the temp changed as it was controlled by the facility. They never changed the temp and it was uncomfortable to sleep. Speaking of uncomfortable, the pillows are awful. As soon as you put your head down, the pillow is non-existent. Two very bad nights of sleep. Breakfast looked great but it was not good. Everything (eggs, sausage, hashbrowns...) were all cold. Nothing was warm. The bread was hard and chewy. The fruit was horrible. We paid WAAAY too much for the breakfast quality. I would give this a 1 but the location was great.

Wonderful stay

I would have given a 10 if they supplied a small fridge but no this is not that common in Europe . Great position to tour the old town of Brussels . Easy walking distance to station which takes you to the airport or Brussels MIDI when arriving on the Eurostar . Friendly staff and spacious size room . Throughly recommend a stay here . Great choice of restaurants everywhere near the hotel

The breakfast was not good and by chance we found out that we can take breakfast in there other hotel nearby and the breakfast there is amazing The second day we went and paid for it and after that they told us we dont need to pay and promised to refund ilus but nobody did refund There was a problem in the hotel water in the room suddenly it becomes cold in kiddle of the shower

A little, cosy gem in the heart of Brussels.

The Hotel is a little gem in the heart of Brussels, it is close to everything, there are a lot of restaurants, bars, shops and sightseeing opportunities around. It is 5 mins by wak from Brussels Central train station. The staff is really very friendly and lovely, our room was perfect and it is quiet even if it is in the haert of the old town.

The staff on reception were very friendly. Hotel was in a great location for walking to many of the tourist sites and there were plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from in the vicinity.

Great staff who were friendly and helpful, and the room was very clean and comfortable.

The clerks at the Reception Desk were friendly and helpful. They gave us directions to some of the main areas of interest. The guest room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The location was an easy walking distance to restaurants and several of the sights that we wanted to experience.

We needed a taxi to take us to the hotel and to pick us up to go to the train station. However, the taxis do not stop at the front door of the hotel, so guests must walk about a block when using a taxi to check-in or check-out. Although, this is not the fault of the Alma Grand Place Hotel, and it was not a big issue.

Perfect location for a fun weekend in a vibrant city

Outstanding location. Only minutes from Grand Place in one direction and Central train station in the other. Fantastic shopping (chocolate), views (Grand Place), waffles, restaurants, pubs only minutes away. Absolutely at the heart of Brussells.

The best feature is also its worst. Because it is so close to the Grand Place and surrounding restaurants and pubs it is loud at night. Singing and shouting punters pass by the windows all night until the sun rises. Music pulsates too.
