Problem still unresolved

The facilities seemed adequate for a hotel of this category.

I haven't received the €50 security deposit payment. I called my bank and they told me the hotel hasn't issued any payment instructions. I'm explain what happened on my arrival day: The receptionist didn't know how to process the security deposit (she had to ask her colleague). My room included breakfast, but she didn't take that into account either; I had to leave my room to point out her mistake. The receptionist then made a single charge totaling EUR 558.60 instead of splitting it into EUR 508.60 and EUR 50.00 as required. I explained that this would cause problems with debit cards, but she ignored me. When I was leaving, I mentioned this issue to Ms. Clara several times, and she told me "there wouldn't be any problems" and "to leave without worry." Well, there is a problem, and I need my money back. .

Great hotel in the center of Brussels, amazing staff!

The hotel is right in the city center, which is great (if that is where you need to be of course...)! Metro station is in front of the building, so arriving by public transport was really easy The hotel staff was friendly and really tried to do the extra mile in service There where some minor issues with the room at arrival, but one call and all was fixed before you know it. They even offered another room, but this was not needed The breakfast was amazing, so much choices!!

The point I didn't like so much, like with almost all other hotels/B&B's/etc., is the matras protection cover they put on the beds. I get it from hygenic point fo view, but I would rather have a room being a few euro's more expensive and they replacing the matrass topper regularly, then too not have a proper nights sleep... No matter how comfortable the bed is, this additional plastic sheet makes you wake all sweaty in the night, and when I turned on the airconditioning, it was quite noisy (so needed to use earplugs to cancel out the noise)

Breakfast was limited. no Change to the daily menu. It gets boring after eating the same thing after a few days… however , I like the juice bar which allow me to juice fresh fruits and vegetables.

Excellent location and very clean, but the noise was disturbing

The location was very good.

The stay was extremely noisy and uncomfortable. It seems that the walls and floors are very thin. I could hear footsteps from the room above, conversations from the room next door, and even the sound of toilets flushing. What was particularly unpleasant was having to listen to someone in the adjacent room vomiting in the bathroom throughout the night. I assume they had too much to drink after enjoying the Christmas market. In addition, when the tissue paper ran out, I tried calling the front desk several times, but the calls never went through. Even after I reported it directly at the front desk, the tissues were not replenished. I understand the hotel was very busy, but this was disappointing.

Great value for money and fantastic location

Loved the staff and extremely well located. Loved the breakfast which included a sparkling wine and Bloody Mary station 😃 rooms were clean and you got complimentary refill water station on the floors.

Would be great to have a Sauna or Steam Room for the cold weather

Weekend break

Room very clean. Staff friendly. Great location.

Booked a high floor superior room with city views. Unfortunately had to stand on a chair to look out of the window and all you then saw was one street below and a building site. Most TV channels didn't work or get signal. Asked house keeping for more teabags and was told there wasn't any so two teabags for 4 days!

Good central location

Great central location with taxi rank outside, friendly and helpful staff,good breakfast and the food which we had for dinner was equally good. Our room was good size, comfortable bed and a bath.Fridge and tea /coffee making facilities however no tea bags and milk, restaurant manager was rather off hand when we asked for this.

Only 2 lifts working which at times took a long time to arrive, no visible sign of a stair case could be a problem if there was a fire.Not the hotel’s fault however it’s central location does mean that if your room overlooks the street there can be noise from all night revellers.

Nice stay in city center

Comfortable rooms nicely decorated, very nice breakfast and the staff at breakfast is just so nice and efficient. Reception staff was super efficient. Fabulous location literally next to the pedestrian area and a very nice rooftop bar, as well as an underground station.

The location is really good, near to two metro station with a lot of lines. The area is full of restaurants and nice shops. The personnel, specially Said, were really nice and attentive. The rooms are good.

great hotel

the hotel's location is in the city center. there is a metro station very very close to the hotel. the staff is so smiley and helpful. beds are so comfortable (i have herniated disc). our room is a standart one, big enough for two people. breakfast is perfect, especially cheeses.

shoehorn, toilet brush, ear stick must be added. it is better to fill the fridge with some drinks.

Great breakfast!

We booked this hotel for the second time, remembering how wonderful the breakfast was and it didn't disappoint. The location is good and the staff very friendly.

The room wasn't cleaned thoroughly. I found a bunch of cookie/break crumbs near the bedside table. It was enough to tell what food it had been... very disappointed with the cleaning. I called reception and they sent someone up to vacuum it up but I really just wanted to change rooms, they didn't offer.

Perfect hotel right in the heart of Brussels

Fabulous large room with all amenities you could want. We had stayed in nine other hotels across Europe before reaching this one and it had the best breakfast by far!!! So much choice!! Right in the heart of Brussels so easy to walk to all the highlights and restaurants.

Great location!

The staff was very helpful. They even helped to load our luggage into the taxi as we departed. We were always greeted warmly when we arrived for breakfast. The breakfast buffet was delicious.

In center of everything.

I was very disappointed with my interaction with the receptionist named Nathalie. I booked my reservation through Booking.com, and I noticed that the amount billed by the hotel was lower than the amount I paid on Booking. When I asked for clarification or assistance, I was met with an incredibly rude and unprofessional attitude that does not reflect the standards expected from a Marriott property. The level of service I received was unacceptable and deeply concerning.

Unbeatable, excellent location but lacking in some details

Location was excellent. It could not be better.

Rooms tend to be on small size for a 4-star hotel. All rooms do not have a desk - only small round tables. Chairs throughout including the restaurant use a circular seat with semicircle “back support “. This seemed to be selected for artistic expression but is not very functional- they were very uncomfortable.

It’s quite disappointing that a hotel brand like Marriot doesn’t have toothbrush and cottons, etc available in the room. It’s on request basis and even that I had to call 3x asking for toothbrush 🤦‍♀️

Just walking distance from all the attractions

The breakfast was great, although not many choices but still in good quality. Anyway my daughter enjoyed the waffles during the stay :)

There is construction outside the building thus cannot see much from Window View. Also the parking entrance is not very obvious, so I parked my car somewhere outside the hotel. still in walking distance.

bed was too narrow--seemed like a single no bathroom soap / items ..dont like tube dispensers. waste bin --was tiny..strange. Towels not big enough, & pillows too small. light master switch -was / could knock off all electrics--again bit strange. no local guide material/ brochures. tissues. writing pad--minimal. lifts..door too fast closing -hit my arm couple of times...& too small to cope with two other people/ baggage.

Give this hotel a miss. Poor service.

Breakfast was fine.

Arrived at 4:45pm. Room not ready and we were instructed, not asked, to wait 5 min. 30 minutes later we got our room keys. The hotel staff member who checked us in just walked off her post on a "break" in the middle of checking us in. No apologies for the delay, just belligerence. The other staff member behind the reception desk was polite, but busy, as she was then the only one at the counter. The room, when we got it, absolutely stank.

The receptionist lied about the breakfast

The location is perfect, the room is cozy and nice.

We had an early flight with my girlfriend and the receptionist asked us if we wanted breakfast, or earlier than the hotel suggested? We agreed and after we said what we wanted and she supposedly wrote it down on a piece of paper, we saw in the bag nothing of what we said the other day… there was an orange and a bare baguette with a piece of ham. Complete disappointment.
