February weekend break in Brussels..

Comfortable warm room. Welcoming and helpful staff. Good location for restaurants bars .

Would stay again any day of the week, twice on Sunday.

Great location and within walking distance of awesome restaurants and historic sites. Stayed with family to include two small kids. Hotel staff were kind enough to have the room ready, especially the sofa beds setup. Clean room and great amenities.

Very minor, but carpet maybe needed to be vacuumed once more before guests walk in. Kids picked up different color of hair on their socks while walking through the room.

Perfect Christmas market location

Ok for a short safe stay in Bxl

Situated in a safe surrounding of Bxl Spacious standard room

The swimming pool is just a bath, you can not swim in it The floor is extremely slippery and nothing is foreseen against this (only in the shower) Breakfast juice is not freshly pressed At desk no Dutch speaking person available Street noise very loudly heard

Fabulous location.

The location was fabulous, close restaurants, shopping and sights. Walking distance to all while close to more quite, but just as interesting, areas.

The room just needs a spruce up. Otherwise rest of the hotel looks fine.

Excellent base for a few days in Brussels

This was an excellent hotel. It has a professional vibe to it. The room was spacious and airy, with big windows and a lovely view over the square and the old church, this also meant it was really quiet. The bathroom is really nice with an excellent shower. Comfy bed. We also liked having an iron and ironing board in the room. The gym was good with just enough equipment to ensure a decent enough workout. Breakfast was really good. Location was nice, just outside the busier parts and easy enough to get to public transport or walk around.

We would have expected a smart TV for the price of the room. We didn't bother trying out the pool as it wasn't really big enough for swimming.

Very sad looking hotel

I think I was expecting too much from this hotel. I rarely write negative reviews but I don’t like when the hotel doesn’t provide the basics. What we liked about the hotel was: - the location in city centre. Close to everything. It can’t get better than this. - room was of a very good size with a little sofa. - bed was very comfortable. - very nice view of the city with the cathedral on the left. - ritual toiletries in the bathroom. They smell amazing. - breakfast was okay.

We didn’t like: - the lady at the check in did not give us any ‚welcome to the hotel’ info, e.g, breakfast time, hotel layout, facilities, fitness centre etc. She just handed us the key and off you go. - the hotel needs a proper refresher, especially the bathroom and toilet. - the toilet is separate from the bathroom without a sink or a toilet brush and very small. You can’t open the door properly to leave when you inside - the fridge and safe were not built in to a cupboard. - the fridge light was flickering giving us headache. - there was no body lotion in the bathroom. - the room looked very outdated, worn out and sad.

Overall, the location was great and convenient, but the service at reception was unprofessional and disappointing.

The hotel was in a great location—central and very easy to access. It was convenient for getting around the city, with public transportation, shops, and restaurants all nearby. A great choice if you’re looking for a well-situated place to stay.

However, the service at the reception was disappointing. The staff seemed more interested in chatting with each other than attending to the guests. There was a queue of people waiting, and instead of focusing on helping them efficiently, the receptionists appeared distracted. This definitely took away from the overall experience.

Not so comfortable to stay in, considering the cleanliness of the room.

Location wise it‘s near to most tourist attractions, restaurants, public transportation, and supermarket.

Reception staff are not so welcoming to the guest upon checking-in. Parts of the room was very dusty and has a very strong smell of a newly painted walls specially in the Toilet. Walls on the room and bath have chipped paints. Bathtub has stains on it.

Great Location and Service!

Great value and staff was very helpful! Location is unbeatable, right in city centre and a short walk to Grand Place. We arrived early via Eurostar from Paris and they were able to store our luggages in a secure room in the lobby before check-in, which was super helpful! The rooms and beds were big and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Would recommend!

Stayed for 2 nights. Location was perfect! Central and close to everything, yet not a noisy area. Nice to come back to after a long day. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Offered us an upgrade during checkin. (Around £40 for 2 nights) And gave us a printout of recommended food and places to go. Room was spacious and clean. They have a luggage storage before checkin/after checkout which was convenient. We didn’t try the hotel breakfast or use the facilities like the pool, so no comment on those.

The heating in the bedroom made the air very dry but not much you can do about that... They did provide Rituals body lotion to use which is great.

Novotel stay was incredibly great

Great location that you can walk all the the popular attractions. Grand palace is 2-3 min by walking. Metro and bus stations are very close like 3-5 min by walking. Hotel staff are very friendly and the rooms are perfect. Open buffet breakfast was amazing. Definitely advising. If I will come brussels again definitely I will choose Novotel.
