The rooms have been refurbished to a good standard -room 409 shower did not work though
Sent an email after the cancellation period had passed advising upgrade works to the hotel. This really affected access-temporary stairs, doors opening straight onto stair wells, access to lift only via 2 flights of stairs first. Anyone with reduced mobility should avoid until all works have finished. I complained about the shower as was immediately offered a new room where everything was in good order. 👍however given the access etc I think the rates should have been reduced. I was offered an upgrade next time I stay-unlikely!

Renovation ongoing, dirty everywhere, limited facilitation, personnel quite unhelpful

Well designed rooms with good size and close to Grand palace.. around 10 minute walk

Hotel is very nice and located close to Gare du Midi which makes it perfect for those ones arriving by plane to CR and then taking the shuttle bus. Neighborhood isn't the nicest one, but very convenient. It is on a walking distance to Grand place and all major attractions in Brussels.

Absolutely 10 out of 10! From the warm and friendly staff to the exceptional comfort — everything was perfect.
If you’re looking for true comfort and a great location in one place, this is the top choice. Highly recommend!

The room was spacious and had great light into the room. Felt comfortable.
I could hear quite a lot of noise from the hallways. Might’ve been a busy crowd, but didn’t feel so private.

Room was large and very well appointed. Nice bathroom. A short walk from the historic center.
Room was a bit hot on top floor and fan was not great at cooling it.

All the construction around the area, but it is not related to the hotel itself it is generally on the city

This lovely hotel is about a 10–15 minute walk from Brussels-Midi station and roughly the same distance to the historic centre. We stayed in a very spacious twin room with two queen beds, plenty of storage space and the all-important power points next to the bed. The room faced what appeared to be a school - more likely a TAFE college - but there was no noise at all from there. The bathroom was generously sized. Despite construction work in the vicinity, there were some lovely cafés nearby. The convenient location and generous room size, along with the added bonus of a laundromat across the road, made for a very enjoyable stay.
The construction of the new metro in the area meant there was quite a lot of building work going on and many shops, cafés, and restaurants had closed temporarily. I’m sure that once it’s completed, the area will be a beautiful, tree-lined street. The bathroom had a shower over the bathtub, which was quite slippery when getting in and out - next time, I’ll definitely request a room with a free-standing shower.

Good location. Not far from the city center and from a railway station. Large room with a comfortable bed.
A large part of the street between the hotel and the railway station is a total construction site with small passages for walking and not good pavement.

Everything was perfect, best hotel I’ve ever stayed in Brussels
Everything was great
4.0 / 10.0
I did not appreciate the way they addressed me—it was very blunt and unfriendly. They claimed to have responded positively to my request, but that was not true.
The street where the hotel is located is full of construction, poorly signposted, and I spent five minutes looking for it even though Google Maps showed I had arrived.
They advertise as being animal-friendly, but when I brought down my small dog—a tiny fluff who weighs less than 3 kilos—they looked at me as if I were a thief.
At checkout, I was charged an extra 30 euros for my pet, even though I was the sole occupant of the room and could have had a companion without extra fees.
It feels like a business focused more on making money from clients than on genuine hospitality.

Very spacious room
The shower had no door and some water went all over the floor

room is amazing, location is good, and the hotel overall was really good.
we were very surprised about how spacious the room was and the bed was comfortable.
the only point I would say is to provide a better chair/stool to put the luggage on
the breakfast was the only terrible thing about the stay
it is situated in small room
very few variaties of food
food was not delicious
not enough plates, not enough cups, and not enough Chairs and tables to sit on!

Great location, comfortable rooms, reception staff very helpful.
We had breakfast in the hotel one day, we didn't repeat the experience as it was very poor. The staff didn't make any effort to clear tables, we had to clear one ourselves as every table was full of dirty dishes! The choices available were very limited and several items weren't replaced when they ran out. Better value options for breakfast outside.

Staff is very nice, room has a good size and great shower. Breakfast is good but I missed to have fruit options and the space is very small for the amount of guests. The location is near to the train station and walking distance from main attractions l.
Breakfast could have fruit options and a bigger space to accomodate all the guests.

It was very cosy, nice staff, the lady in restaurant was very warming and tried to serve us as best as she could :-)
I would recommend the hotel to set a dress code for breakfast. Guests were entering in their pajamas, I find it inappropriate.
We had noisy AC in the room, we had to switch the room, then it was OK.

The room was a good size, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Great shower.
Easy walk from the train station, and to the sights in the centre. Staff were great.
I was concerned about the structure across the street: I thought it was going to be noisy into the night. Not so! It wasn’t the bar scene I had imagined, it turns out to be business locations.
The neighbourhood is not charming.

Breakfast was quite good.
I don't know how this can be called a four star hotel. The hotel was surrounded by construction - the whole road was under construction and many adjacent stores / restaurants were closed. I needed to walk to the station to catch the metro - I preferred to Uber at night as was not sure how safe this would be. The room was in the roof so kept bumping my head (and I am not tall!). The bathroom was even more cramped. Pillows were terribly hard.
My safe broke halfway through my stay and despite reporting it twice, it was still not fixed when I left! My room was also very hot and the AC only sorted after 2 days.

Seamless check-in, large comfortable room, quiet.
Aircon wasn’t working ( we were warned of this in advance as the hotel was being upgraded & the system hadn’t been re-commissioned yet). Room 203 near lift which made clanging noise.

Staff were very welcoming on arrival, and throughout our stay.
Room was clean and spacious for 4 people.
We found the hotel quite noisy, our room was very close to reception and a staff room which meant at night and earlier mornings noise would travel through to our room.
During our stay our TV was not working and because it was the weekend there seemed to be no other solution.

Good location, 10 minutes walking time to Grand Place. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds. Small but good breakfast buffet.
Bath amenities rather scarce, towels already worn off.

Every morning we woke up to the noise of the hotel repair. It was extremely disturbing. On the first day we entered the hotel, we had to change the sheets we received from the reception because the sheets were full of hair and hair. We had bad experiences such as slow sink water, room that was not cleaned properly (yes, I can say that it is not cleaned even if you hang a cleaning sign on the door or tell the reception), bathroom without ventilation. Although there is no bartender, the reception brings you beer. Despite that, we were told that the bar was closed after a certain hour. We didn't understand if it was open. Although we sent many messages to the hotel, we couldn't reach them before we arrived. The girl at the reception was unaware of the messages. Although the staff said they would solve the noise problem at 8:30 in the morning, there was no change. We woke up every day with the noise again. As a result, it was NEVER worth the price we paid.

The room was very spacious and we had a small balcony which was good. It had all the facilities that we needed and had herbal teas, which was an added bonus
We had to move rooms on the day before we came back, because of the air conditioning. We only found out we were moving rooms because our key pass wasn't working and we had to go down and report it. We wouldn't of known otherwise as no one had pre warned us

The location

The location is great between Midi Train Station and Grand Place Brussels. Both about 10 minutes walk away. The place is nice and clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. The room was big and had a normal hotel facilities. The breakfast was very basic. Fruits, yoghurt, muesli, croissants, ham, scrambled eggs, cheese, chocolate cake etc. I think the stay was a good value for money.
The hotel is not maintained in the best way. The carpets look already older, the lift's mat was too small..little things, but you can notice them.

Breakfast was very good with a good variety of food. However 2 coffee machines are needed.
Our room was a good size and a bonus was being able to control the heating and an opening window for air at night.
A nice 10 minute walk into the square, shops and market
