Friendly staff and an excellent location; the bathroom could be improved.

The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is also very well located, making it convenient for transport and getting around Brussels.

The bathroom is quite old and outdated. The toilet and shower setup is not very practical, and the flushing power of the toilet was weak. The bathroom facilities could definitely benefit from renovation and modernization.

Comfy, clean, great value for money

The location is very comfortable, the hotel is quiet and clean. The breakfast has a diverse choice of healthy food: from salmon to a wide range of seeds and yoghurt, juices, etc. Most importantly, the staff was amazing. Kudos to Damien from the reception!

Fine for one night, horrible location

Staff on front desk were helpful and friendly

The location is awful. Felt very unsafe to be walking outside in the day, which is why we avoided leaving/coming back late at night. The beds also weren’t as comfortable as other Novotels we have stayed in

Great Location and Good Service

The fridge was not working for the 2 days I stayed there nonetheless the staff did offer to store drinks in the downstairs kitchen.

Solid hotel that is a little bit pricey, very friendly and helpful staff.

The staff were very helpful, they gave us lots of information about the city and lots of hints and tips on places to see. They also allowed us to leave our bags with them for free so we could use our morning to explore further before catching our train. The room was spacious and well equipped for our needs. We had a good view over the city and it was quiet.

The location is very close to the station which suited our needs but be warned the area is a little bit rough around the edges (one of the first things we saw was a taxi driver urinating against a wall) this can't be controlled by the hotel but it's worth knowing. The shower in our room (703) had a broken holster which meant it wouldn't stay in place so had to be held. There is also a rip in base sheet at the head end and there is a plastic mattress protector which meant the bed got quite hot at night. Breakfast is big with plenty of options but is expensive.

This city has lost if hotels - my advice is book elsewhere-

It was adequate for one night

Staff not very welcoming on arrival (arrived at 10pm with my young son - staff more interested in serving at the bar)

Hotel comfy and rooms clean however would not rate if a 4 star.

The hotel was very basic and would not say if warranted a 4 star rating

We came back one evening after 12 and the door was locked. Despite ringing no one came for at least 10 mins which was not acceptable. The hotel is not in a desirable area and had I been in my own I would have been very frightened.

Air conditioning did not work for the 3 nights I was there. Selection of meals in the restaurant was poor. If you do not like spicy food there was not another choice.

Short one night stay ,chosen because of closeness to Gare de Midi and it had good reviews

We had booked a twin bed room and that is what we got with 2 pillows which was perfect ,clean ,comfortable room ,very close to the station ,polite friendly staff on Reception

Air Con wasn't working properly in the room ,we had inconsiderate people in the room next door to ours they seemed to be smoking in their room or the corridor smelled horrible .Room was quite cluttered with an overlarge table ,stool and chair in front of the window

problem with payment

I have no idea why I paid additionally for breakfast, additionally 24EUR at the checkout?. In check-in, I paid total amount of 442,90EUR (3nights included breakfast) however in checkout the receptionist charged me again for breakfast amount of EUR 24???????

A horrible experience at a terribly low-quality hotel.

There's nothing you can like about this hotel!

A disgraceful attitude and treatment towards guests. I arrived at the hotel around noon and clearly stated that I would be leaving at 4 a.m. (meaning I wouldn’t even be staying one full night, just a few hours). I had my cat with me, and they charged me a full 199 EUR for a total stay of just 14 hours. The man at the reception was extremely rude, uncooperative, and clearly just trying to rip people off (which seems to be the general attitude of the entire hotel). It felt like they would even charge you extra just for breathing there — probably because business is going badly and they’re desperate for money. They charged me an additional 25 EUR just because I had my cat with me, and unbelievably, they also charged me for an extra bed — just because I had my cat with me! A bed! For a cat! The hotel’s location is also terrible — in a dangerous neighborhood where you wouldn’t feel safe walking around at odd hours. This was a booking I deeply regret. I will never stay at this scammy, greedy hotel again.6997681453

Close to train station.

Location to train station for day trips to Ghent & Bruges.

During our stay, the air conditioning system wasn’t working throughout the hotel, so our room was very stuffy. Hotel staff apologised for inconvenience as over weekend technician wasn’t available to attend. Bed was not very comfy.

I liked the staff, the hotel, the room and the ability to stay longer from the check out time only with 10 euros per hour.Also I liked the location of the hotel and my room.The hotel was in a walking distance from the midi station. I had an incredible view.

Excellent Service, Friendly Staff

Staff was really friendly and co-operative. My check in time was 3pm, but I reached at around 11am, and the room was ready. That was the best thing. So, I checked in, had some rest and I was ready to explore Brussels.

Pleasant, relaxing, and I would certainly return in future.

Room -big enough for one night stay, and included a chair and occasional table and stool at the window. And a hospitality kettle with tea or coffee making possible, very welcome. Liked the view - could see the Sunday morning fruit and veg, and everything else market. Location - very convenient for the Brussels Midi railway station. Breakfast - great choice of food. Pleasantly decorated and relaxing breakfast room, cutlery and napkins laid out on tables. Good view of small green courtyard behind. Staff - helpful, friendly with a smile. Eco approach to towel use and recycling appeciated.

Shower was a little tricky for me to work out. Space in over- bath shower on the neat side.
