Everything was good!

The location is great, right next to the train station and close to the Subway. You also have a grocery store right next to the hotel. The room was cleaned, quiet and we had everything we needed.

If you want to leave your luggage there you can, inside a lock from the basment which costs you. It is not a big deal, hovewever, since I stayed at the hotel I would have liked to have this Service for free

I needed a hotel close to the main train station and this was just across the road.

Amazing location if you just need somewhere to stay for a night while travelling. The room was tidy, the staff were helpful and nice. Check-in was not complicated at all, and the bed and room were comfy.

Excellent choise- perfect location

Location is perfect. Across the street was main tran/bus station. City center Grote Markt is about 1.4km from the hotel by walk. Bads are comfy, staff amazing. In the hotel you have caffe bas wich is opet in the morng and in the night where you can buy coffe or drinks something by your choise. Room was good, towels are changed daily.

I wouldn’t come again

The Spanish girl from Granada at the front desk was friendly and nice. The mattress and pillows were good

There is neither a fridge nor a boiler in the room. The towels are small and old. No safe box in the room. The breakfast could be improved - it’s basic and low quality. The water of the shower doesn’t have pressure. There is black mould in some parts of the shower too. The blonde girl who speaks French, it’s arrogant. If you want to leave the bag before or after the check-in / check-out, they charge you extra.

Good for a short stay

Good location, quiet rooms even the ones on the street/station side, organized breakfast. The staff kindly reserved a taxi very early in the morning so I could go to the airport, and the driver arrived even earlier than expected, so it worked very well.

The hair dryer is too weak (really really weak) - once I have very long hair, I gave up washing it in the few nights I stayed at the hotel. They did not had any other available at the reception, so maybe this could be a suggestion. The shower cabine is too small, and is very hard to adjust the shower position to at least have a minimum level of comfort.

Close to the train station for international travel. Also about 15-20 minutes walk to the city and restaurants.

The hotel is in a rough part of town with lots of people living on the street. Very noisy at night. Don't get the breakfast, very expensive and hardly anything to eat. Bacon was swimming in fat.

A good hotel and next to Eurostar.

The staff at reception and at the bar were very helpful and friendly. We appreciated being able to open the windows. It could not have been closer to the Eurostar terminal.

Good for an early train.

The room was large, clean, and had good facilities.

Because the hotel is so close to the station it's a very busy area. The noise all night was very loud. The double glazing doesn't help at all. When I checked to make sure the window was closed, I discovered no safety to stop it opening all the way. I think this is very dangerous on the 4th floor.

Got what we paid for!

The breakfast offered a huge selection of tasty dishes including cold cereals, toast, fried and scrambled eggs, two types of sausages, juices water coffee The maintenance man, Ronny, really when beyond his duty to please us. The young East Indian lady at the desk made a huge effort to find us a more suitable room, much to the chagrin of the middle aged blond supervisor.

This facility is aged and needs a lot more care (I.e. a complete refurbishment) The upper story room was minuscule for this couple.

Perfect location directly opposite the train station. Quiet, comfortable room and proper bed for the 3rd person rather than a sofa bed. The room was spacious too.

Terrible place, avoid at all costs

I tried hard to think what I can write for this, but unfortunately there is nothing that one can like about this hotel.

The location of this hotel is terrible. It’s right by the train station, an area full of people smoking weed, drinking, and behaving disorderly. We felt unsafe, especially at night. The room itself was no better. The carpet was filthy with stains everywhere, and the bathroom was tiny and very uncomfortable. There’s no safe in the room, which adds to the lack of security. On top of that, the hotel charges an outrageously high fee just to store your luggage if you want to explore the city after checkout. This place is absolutely not worth staying at — not for families, not for couples, and not even for solo travelers. Avoid it.

Horrible and scared to sleep due to roaches and mold.

Room 117 had a lot of mold on the bathroom shower tiles and the bathroom ceiling. Also found and killed two roaches in the bathroom.

Rooms are adequate, personnel, cleaning etc. it is all adequate. The only exceptional is the location, and the biggest disappointment was the breakfast. But its all okay. The hotel is however not good enough for the price.

Room needed updating Air. Conditioning was so inefficient it wasn’t worth having. No tea and coffee facilities in the room Very expensive for what was offered. We were due to stay again on our return trip. I have cancelled the booking and booked somewhere else.

tv remote not working, curtain rail was broken and part of the window was uncovered, anytime we tried to cover it the curtain would drop. The main issue I have woth my stay is that we booked a room for 2 - me and my child. the room said breakfast included. when we checked in we were made to pay extra for my childs breakfast. how is it breakfast included for only one person staying but not another?

The Area around property towards train station.. we felt a bit uncomfortable within this area. It was not nice and an eyesore from hotel. If you leave the hotel main door and turn left it felt safer within a couple of hundred yards..

Location outside Brussels Midi is excellent and so convenient. It’s about 1mile walk into Brussels centre, which was no problem for us.

No tea/coffee facilities in the room. Have stayed at other Hotels that do this, but they then did free hot drinks in a communal bar area. This Ibis did not do that. Very poor! Not much to ask to have free tea/coffee while staying there.

wastage of holiday, wastage expectation - never choose ibis - poor management

except for its proximity to the main railway station, there is nothing positive about the hotel and this very positive point is also turns negative when you find people roaming around the hotel leisurely giving you weird intimidating looks, making you feel unsafe!

room and bathroom - was not being cleaned properly - upon raising the concern, reception did not respond. intercom in room was not working. even the blanket covers were torn and sheets were dirty (see pic) location - though close to main railway station, surrounding felt unsafe as lots of people were loitering around and usually look at you weirdly! breakfast - containers were not refilled during the breakfast window once they were finished! staff starts cleaning the breakfast spread around 9:30am though the breakfast window closes at 10am in weekday and 10:30am in weekends (we stayed through weekday to weekend) and almost all the days we stayed there, they closed the juice and coffee/tea dispensers by 9:45 am. all of the staffs in breakfast area are always in hurry. Served half rotten fruits - especially bananas and grapes). Poor management and security. Will never choose ibis anywhere again and will spread the word to save people from spending money and wasting the holidays!

The bartender was rude. If you don't like foreigners then you shouldn't have a job at a hotel across from an international train station. Food choices were slim the first 2 days as the bartender admitted to not having stocked up for a busy weekend.

Great Location, Staff and Breakfast but the room had maintenance needs!

The hotel has a fantastic location very close to Gare du Midi so excellent for the Eurostar and connections onwards. The staff are lovely, friendly and super helpful. The breakfast was amazing.

The hotel room had a mouldy bathroom, half a toilet roll (for a family of three), very thin towels and stained sheets. There was a sign in reception about child sex expiolatation and trafficking which I suppose was intended to reassure us they were vigilant to prevent it but it made us feel alarmed about what had previously happened at the hotel that such a sign was needed.
