Amazing stay for my last minute internship in Brussels

Great and attentive staff, hotel entry is supervised by the receptionists, which is good in this location. The appartment with kitchen served well for my long stay of 85 days. The hotel wifi was one of the best and most stable I have experienced on my business trips.

Microwave was hard to use even with the official manual. Ventilation filter could be cleaned from time to time. Noise from the AC/Heating unit when more units on the floor were in operation.

The beds were very comfortable. The shower was nice and hot. It was very clean. It was a quiet location and we had little noise. The Aircon worked well.

Comfortable and large bed, big smart TV, large bathroom with great shower and neat kitchenette.

The location was unpleasant, litter around outside and a noisy area. There was not a lot of kitchen utensils supplied and no cleaning supplies only a general dish soap. There were also stains on the curtains and one of the bed cushions.

Fantastic Brussels

The location is a 5 minute walk from the Central rail station, which was great. The public transport was easily accessible from the hotel which allowed to travel to other cities in Belgium and also around the capital. The staff were really welcoming, helpful and friendly. We had a really good stay here.

The Chromecast wasn't great in our room. I have used Chromecast many times in different locations but this one was a little glitch. It didnt detract from my stay.

We still enjoyed our stay in Belgium, and this hotel was very accessible to the public transportation system.

The location of the hotel is only about a 5-minute walk to and from the station. The staff were really helpful and friendly, especially the receptionists. They allowed the luggages to be kept while we wait for the check-in time. They also allowed the luggage storage since we checked-out early and our train was later during the day.

The location of the hotel, through no fault of their own, seems a bit dodgy, especially at night. In the middle of our stay, the elevator at the lobby stopped working and was not accessible. We had to go up a level to access the elevators to the top floors. The check-in time was also a bit later than usual - at 4PM. We also thought that the rooms would automatically be cleaned. During our stay, our room was not cleaned nor the towels changed. Little did we know that there was a small sign that we can hang on our doors should we want this to be done. It would be great if the guests would be informed about this. I only found it (the sign) during our last day when I was already packing up.

Long weekend in Brussels

It is 5 min walk from Mid-Brussels station. Thats very convenient. Rooms with balcony are better. We had one of them. Buffet breakfast was very limited but good. We got one hour late check out for 20€.

The area where is hotel located seems to be unsafe. Location is good related to train station but not close to any attractions in the city. We asked for early check in and we got info that depends on the time of arrival early check in additional price varies. We were asked if we agree with that which we confirmed for early check in at 2 pm (14 h) instead of 4 pm (16 h). Between 1 and 4 pm additional payment is 20€ which is ok. In info that we got was stated that early check in on spot is optimal upon availability or if we agree to upfront to pay 20€, room would be ready for 2 pm. When we arrived. Room was not ready. And all we got is several times repeating that it depends on availability. If check out time is 11 am and we asked and confirmed 2 months before that we will pay for room to be ready at 2 pm. What is not clear? Which availability? Rooms are empty between 11 am and 4 pm for the day when people check out. It is a matter of planing and giving fake hope to the guests.

Thanks for the great hospitality

The excellent service of the reception staff made a significant positive impact for our stay. The room was perfect for the short stay if you return to the hotel just for sleep and a shower. It was clean, tidy, modern, with proper lighting, an air-conditioning and heating system, and a small kitchenette equipped with everything needed for a light dinner or breakfast. The shower room was spacious and clean. Comfy beds. The location is very convenient for someone traveling frequently from the train station, as it's just a 5-minute walk away. There are also a few grocery shops and take-away places nearby.

While it could be a bit noisy through the night or in the morning, close the windows and the issue is resolved :-)

Hotel is great. Area it's in - not so much.

The room itself was lovely. Clean, A/C worked well. Beds were very comfortable. The staff were nice. One of our lights didn't work and the staff were very eager to rectify the issue for us. They did manage to fix it which was great. Can walk to the city centre in about 25-30 min. The subway is close enough and only takes a few min if you don't want to walk. Basically right next to one of the main bus/train stations, so convenient for transportation.

The area the hotel is in is actually quite rough. Lots of garbage everywhere and run down buildings. We didn't have any issues personally walking around, but I was told by a local that a lot of muggings happen in the area, and I can fully believe that. The sink in the bathroom drained incredibly slowly, but that was probably the only inconvenient thing about it. Also the additional inside bolt lock was completely broken (read - had been totally ripped off the frame) so all we had was the electronic handle lock in the door to ensure no one could get in.

there is not much around the hotel (as in bars, cafes, restaurants etc); it is very overpriced for what it offers and they value money over making guests feel comfortable. also the breakfast they offer is not included, in an already overpriced room, and its expensive (about 20 euros)

Perfect location for Gare du Midi.

The location is absolutely perfect for the train station - so either for trains or the Flibco buses. I left the property at 3:30am and caught a bus to Charleroi airport at 3:40. Room was comfortable, staff was helpful, everything I was looking for.

I guess if you are not looking to be near the train station, you may wish to stay a little closer to the tourist areas if you are visiting for a few days

Perfect location for station, clean, quiet and very comfortable

Very quiet, comfy beds, aircon, nice to have a kitchette, and staff at check in and check out we're extremely helpful, polite and friendly. Just 8 min walk to Midi station.

Absolutely (almost) Perfect!

We loved the studio apartment for our extended stay. We were able to go to the full grocery store next door and had a perfect sized kitchen for storing and preparing breakfast in bed! Lots of fresh fruit & vegetable stands so close by, a short walk to the metro, bus stops, train station and local pubs. Our room was air conditioned making our room cosy despite the heat wave outside. Don't let Michael fool you. Not only does he speak English, he speaks another 5 languages too and has a great sense of humour.

Would get full marks except for the bed. A large double is actually 2 twin beds zipped together. The mattress kept sliding off the base.

Good Apartment but in a very undesirable area

The apartment was good. It was clean and bright. 2 ring hob, microwave, coffee maker and mini dishwasher provided. Limited cutlery and crockery tho - e.g. just 2 cups. Bed comfortable and extra pillows provided if needed. Good, usable air con in the room. Small supermarket next door and corner shop opposite.

The location was very convenient for Bruxelles Midi train station but the district is very undesirable. Streets very dirty and properties very run down. Male dominant population. Would not want to be there on my own as didn't feel safe. Brisk 25 minute walk into the main town Grand Place area with buses running from the train station. Building a new metro system so lots of road works and closures. Shame as the apartment would be great in a nicer area.

Comfortable Stay Near Midi Station with Excellent Support

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel and would recommend it. The location is very convenient—just a short walk from Brussels Midi train station, which made my arrival and departure easy. One issue I encountered was that the hotel's location is slightly incorrect on Google Maps, which led me to a different nearby property. I highly recommend updating the location to avoid confusion for future guests. That said, a very polite and helpful staff member noticed us outside and kindly escorted us to the correct entrance—his assistance was greatly appreciated and deserves praise. Due to a last-minute cancellation by another property I had originally booked through Booking.com, I had to find an alternative urgently. I chose this hotel because I needed a room with a kitchen. Booking.com offered me two rooms with kitchens, even though I would have been fine with just one kitchen and a regular room. This led to some unnecessary extra costs, but to be clear, this is an issue with Booking.com, not the hotel itself. I'm very glad this hotel had availability during such a stressful situation. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Overall, I’m grateful for the good service and smooth experience here.

Minor Issues to Improve, But Overall a Good Stay** While I had a pleasant stay overall, there were a few minor issues that could be improved: 1. Incorrect address on Google Maps: The address listed on Google Maps leads to a nearby property instead of the hotel. This caused some confusion upon arrival. I suggest updating the location to avoid any future inconvenience for guests. 2. Old kitchen cloth: The kitchen cloth provided was quite worn and could be replaced with a new one. A small but easy-to-fix detail that would improve the guest experience. 3. Limited coffee capsules: Only two coffee capsules were provided for the entire stay. If you're staying more than two days, there won’t be any more coffee available. While this isn't a big issue for a one-night stay, it could be improved for longer stays. These are minor drawbacks, and I’m sharing them with the hope that the hotel can address them and become even better. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay and would still recommend the hotel.

Friendly staff, lovely big room despite there being 3 of us and using the sofa bed. Lovely to have a balcony. You could connect your phone to the TV and the room and bathroom and entrance were all very clean.

Feels a little unsafe walking back in the dark from the city centre. Wouldn’t recommend the walk for a solo female traveller.

Comfy clean stay, convenient for Brussels Midi station, helpful staff

Staff excellent and helpful, printed out my eurostar confirmation. Bed was super comfy, kitchen and bathroom clean, everything in good working order. Close to Brussels-Midi station for a smooth departure on the Eurostar the following day. Secure entrance only opening for keyholders so I felt safe in the area.

Breakfast was expensive for a continental breakfast - EUR17.50 for coffee, pastries, waffles, eggs etc. However, coffee was free

Great value, warm welcome, fantastic luck to find it as a 'port in a storm'

Just an excellent room for the price. Great location for Brussels Midi station. We stayed very briefly after train delays meant we couldn't get a eurostar until next morning, but this was everything you could ask for for a short stay of any kind. We'd happily come back for longer. Very clean, good size bed, decent bathroom, little kitchenette would have been used if we'd stayed longer. Also, lovely welcome from staff at reception- really made us feel safe and welcome after a long, difficult journey.

Not applicable. I wonder if the area might not be at the heart of everything everyone would wish for for a city break but for a stopover or base from Brussels Midi station it's great. And we felt safe enough, and warmly welcomed even at nearly midnight!

Comfy apartment room near Brussel Midi

The room was quite spacious. Big bathroom and very nice shower. Kitchen had all equipment, even if I haven't used it. The bed was very comfortable. Location just 5 minutes from Brussel Midi.

Streets around were dirty and with some homeless near the railway station. It looked like a not very safe place. The room was never cleaned in 5 days, and the bed sheets were never changed. For the price I would have expected at least a complete cleaning every 3 days.

The property was really lovely and clean, the room was pretty nice and had everything you would need! Bed was comfy and overall a great place to stay for a couple night in Brussels :) The staff were very friendly and easy to talk to, they gave us some great recommendations on where to visit!!

The location of the property wasn’t ideal for getting to the centre by foot, however an electric scooter ride was just a perfect way to see more of the city and get into the centre quick and efficiently also the train station is only a 5 minute walk away :)

The little kitchen was great. Room was spacious and had everything we needed. Location was good for transport links. Lots of choice for breakfast. Helpful staff.

It was in a great location for the train station and metro. But there was a group of people sleeping rough at the back of the station, just along the road which made the area feel unsafe. The rubbish on the street was very unsightly too, despite a member of staff sweeping outside the hotel each day. We weren't sure about bedroom housekeeping - the beds were made poorly each day, rubbish taken away and our towels were changed intermittently even though we hung them as instructed. I think that I would have appreciated better bed making and the bathroom being wiped over as we stayed six nights. Washing up was difficult as there was no cloth/brush. We did use the dishwasher but the plates were too tall for the machine. These are minor issues as we actually had a lovely time and found the location great for all our travel.

Superb

The room had a two hob cooker, microwave, pots pans, crockery etc. which I wasn't expecting. The room was a fairly generous size. It was easy to walk to the station. There was an excellent patisserie / boulangeeie within about 400 metres. Waffle making at breakfast, and the cheerful waiter, who may have doubled as cook. The room was clean and the bed comfortable.

I would have preferred a wider selection at breakfast, although was very happy with what I had. Fresh fruit salad would have been nice, as would mushrooms, sausages and for others more cold meats.
