Great Hotel,

Location close to the Gare Midi Station and short walk to centre of Brussels. Cleanliness and facilities at the hotel are excellent.

Road works/ construction outside. Area where hotel is situated in my opinion is a bit rough.

Great location but wouldn’t stay there again.

The station was less than five mins walk. The rooms were clean and breakfast was good. Shoutout to the cleaning staff they are amazing. You keep the place running

The price for our stay was not worth it , I feel it was too expensive for what it was. I feel like there should have been more services for the price. Not a lot of choices to eat at the bar. The road works were annoying. The staff were not attentive except the Asian guy.

It was a nice city break

Probably needed more cooks on the evening meal because I experienced food poisoning. Due to staff shortages, we found reception staff were assisting in the kitchen. For the price of the room, you would have expected more qualified staff on shift.

The microwave meals that were being served were due to no chef. Also one of the rooms my friend was staying in smelt of cigarettes.

It was very good in every way. Customer service, rooms, cleaners, receptionists were very polite.

Parking. paying £30 per night for parking is too expensive and hope that can be reviewed. It is the only thing that could get me to book a hotel somewhere else next time. Otherwise, excellent.

My stay has been wonderful and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Close to the train station and about 20 minutes walk to the historic part of Brussels.

TV didn't work initially but it was eventually fixed, also the area right in front of the hotel is a construction site so it doesn't look very welcoming I suppose

Very comfortable and clean, staff is accessible, young, and friendly. Prices are reasonable, and has nearby access to transportation such as the Brussels Zuid train station and the Brussels metro

The location of the hotel, may seem a bit intimidating for some guests. A lot of construction work going on around the hotel, and the view from the room window wasn’t very aesthetic.

Very nice hotel, construction zone in front makes it look bad

The hotel is really nice room was spacious and modern, great breakfast spread and very nice staff

The location is good but right in front of the hotel there’s a big construction site so it looks very ugly. Also there were some sketchy people near the hotel felt but uncomfortable walking alone.

Close to the train station, great beds, great breakfast

The room is spacey, very clean. The beds are comfy, and the aicon worked very well, which was mportant as it was very hot outside. Great breakfast. Close to the train station Brixelles Midi. Solid place for the short stay between voyages.

The shower was either too hot or too cold, it was almost impossible to catch that middle position. When we stayed, the hotel was surrounded by big construction works, so it was quite unpleasant to walk around. To go to the center you have to pass through the not so safe quarters. We had the attempt of robbery while getting back from the center. Be careful with your belongings when walking in the area!

I wrote to the hotel and Booking.com multiple times after reading quite a few reviews about how unsafe the location was, especially for solo female travellers after people being robbed on numerous times outside the hotel. The hotel never replied to any of my messages despite how many I sent asking for a refund. I was very disappointed that despite my fears for my safety being a solo female traveller the hotel would not give me a refund or even communicate with me. I did not stay.

One night stay during bike trip

Very big room. Good bed. Clean. Quiet. A bit of construction in front of the hotel but did not produce any noise. 20 mins walk to city centre. Close to Brussels-Midi. Friendly personnel. Ample free coffee and tea in room.

All was perfect. We did have a little hiccup when my 7 years old stumbled on the front door at the day of check out. They say the construction technician will be handled it. A part front that incident the hotel was a great value for money the breakfast has variety of food.

Safe option for a good stay in Brussels

Very well located, close to Brussels Mid station. Good room size, comfortable bed and pillows, revitalized building. There is water available to refill bottles at the lobby.

The neighborhood is not interesting and it’s under construction.

Amazing hotel for families

tiny but nice gym, breakfast was incredible and even though there is a spa we didn't have time to try it but definitely will try next time. Beds were super comfy and the room was amazingly big. The toilet is in a separate bathroom (inside the room) which is great for families haha.

The zone is front of the hotel is full of work constructions, this is nothing against the hotel but it is good to know that the views from the street are not good.

1. Too expensive compared to what it was offering 2. Not in a good and safe area plus construction work was undergoing just outside the hotel which the hotel did not inform us at the time of making a booking 3. Rooms very basic

Excellent and fantastic

Everything was great. The staff was very friendly and cared about the needs of the people. They responded very well to all the queries and sightseeing advice. We would certainly recommend this place to all our friends in future and we will also come back again.

My son enjoyed the Jacuzzi. The only suggestion is to have a booking system in place where people can just make 1 hour booking for the Jacuzzi during the day and enjoy the experience with their families during that hour. It will be convenient and more private for everyone.

We enjoyed our stay

Very friendly and helpful staff who were happy to help in anyway and the hotel is not far from the train station

The only downside was the roadworks immediately outside of the property which will go on for some time.

Very comfortable stay near the station with very friendly and helpful staff

The reception staff were very helpful when we had to book last minute and put an extra bed in the room since they only had one room rather than two. A good sized, clean room that was quiet and comfy. Nothing fancy but perfectly adequate for a close stay near the station.

Everything within the hotel was wonderful. The only thing to note is that the whole area around the hotel is currently being dug up for street building work, but we didn't hear any noise from those works.

The hotel itself is really nice, clean, modern, close enough for a walk to the center and only a couple of minutes from the train station.

The area is a bit rough and the reconstruction of the street in front of the hotel makes it difficult to get to. But good enough for a one night stay.

Passable

This is a functional hotel but it’s pretty miserable- the area is destitute. On the plus side the Staffa re absolutely charming but it’s overpriced for very standard accommodation with nothing special in a downtrodden area that is heavily under construction. I would not stay here again unless there was nothing else available.

Happy to recommend

The Staff. Over and above attention to guest. Unfortunately I did not catch the name of the young man on evening duty when we were there, but he was so obliging under a personal difficult moment. Rating 10 to him especially, but others were also to be commended. Superb service and array of foods for breakfast.
