We arrived early and used the lockers so we could leave our luggage and went sightseeing.
Alejandro was super friendly and checked us in later in the evening. He recommended some really nice spots to try the best chocolate and Belgian food.
The shower could have a bigger screen, we took a shower and the bathroom floor was soaking wet. The sink was also a bit small, the spaces were not so big to move around in the bedroom and comfortably open our luggage.

The bedding was comfortable.
Gare du Midi is not the best location if you are choosing to stay in Brussels in general for tourism, although it has good accesses if I went back I would choose a central area to avoid uber-ing back to the hotel constantly, but I think that’s on me and my lack of research. Also, arrived at breakfast 40 minutes before closing and the staff was visibly irritated - breakfast is also meh.
