A rest between two long-distance meetings (Ostend - Brussels - Libramont)

Great, practical choice for a business trip to Brussels

I frequently stay at Citadines Toison d'Or - excellent location with good facilities nearby, very good metro connection to central station and other parts of Brussels, well managed and efficient, plus the rooms are a good size, comfortable and come with a kitchenette.

Great bang for your buck!

Excellent location - close to the metro and only 15 minutes or so from the center. The room was very elegant and very clean. The bathroom has towels, shampoo, as well as a hair dryer so you're covered. The kitchen has a frying pan and a cooking pot so you can also prepare meals if you don't feel like eating out. The staff are nice and helpful, Fabrice was kind enough to recommend some places for us to check out, big shoutout to him. The soundproofing is also great since we didn't hear any noise from the street. Overall I loved it, and I'll definitely be returning if I find myself in Brussels again. I hope their standards are this good in their other hotels too.

Location. local restaurants and supermarket (two minutes round the corner) Coffee station in lobby. Metro and buses. Staff helpful and knowledgeable

Good stay overall, but some aspects need improvement

My stay at this hotel was very pleasant. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Louise metro station, which made it easy to get around the city and reach Brussels’ main attractions. The room was spacious and comfortable, and having a fully equipped kitchen was a big plus — especially for preparing breakfast at my own pace. A great option for travelers who value independence and practicality during their trip.

While the location and room amenities were quite convenient, there were a few things that affected the overall experience. The layout of the bathroom and shower was unusual — they were placed on opposite sides of the room, which felt impractical and a bit confusing. During our three-night stay, there was no room cleaning service, which was disappointing and not what we expected from a hotel. Another issue was the room access card, which had to be revalidated every day upon returning to the hotel. On the first day, this caused unnecessary stress as we had to go back down to reception just to reactivate it. These small inconveniences added up and could easily be addressed to improve the guest experience.

A suitable solution if you wish to do some self-catering.

Convenient location, room as expected, quite comfortable, kitchenette equipped with what you need for a short stay. Two local supermarkets close by and a restaurant street.

Room on the front, so quite noisy at night in hot weather. Our payment on arrival had not been recorded, so we had to hunt for our proof of payment just as we were leaving. No information in room about accessing wi-fi.

The city center is at a comfortable walking distance. Comfortable bed. Spacious room. Shop right around the corner. Storage room to leave your bags after check-out if you have some time to kill.

Only public Wi-Fi network is available for the guests, which is not secure at all without VPN. Pro tip for fellow travelers: ProtonVPN has a good free tier at the time of writing this.

You can reach the center by walking. cleaning is good. Everything for the kitchen is amazing.

The toilet and bathroom were in separate places in the room. There is no sink in the toilet and you have to walk around the room and go to the bathroom to wash your hands.

I was disappointed to see mould in the shower. It's unacceptable to have this in a place with a such price. I hope they will clean it.

All in all it was very comfortable and the price was good. We would stay here again.

The room was great with a lot of space and a large comfortable bed. The tub is a very nice size too. The kitchen had all the necessary things to cook a meal or have some tea/coffee.

There was a lot of noise coming from both outside the hotel and the surrounding rooms. The window in the apartment does not do a very good job at closing out the noise from the streets. The kitchen was missing handsoap and a dishcloth.
