Good hotel, bad area.

Friendly staff, accommodating/ helpful

Location was just a bit out of the center of town, just expect a 20 downhill walk to city center.... and 25-30 back up... or a car ride. Current crowding aside, area was ok... just not great. Plus our friend had their car broken into even though in the "24 hr surveillance " parking garage. Crime seemed to be close by.... didn't feel 100% safe outside the hotel property.

Cosy stay at a nice little hotel !

Really nice member of staff who greeted me in one of his many languages. Nice upgrade to a higher floor room. Cosy bed and nice natural lighting and aspectts

Found hairs all throughout my bed prior to hopping in. Some people may find that gross, but it appeared clean otherwise.

Great location, quirky, affordable

The staff we were friendly and welcoming and not too formal, so it was a relaxed atmosphere. They were always happy to help. Great location, handy for places we wanted to visit within walking distance and also for public transport. Quirky, fun decor but not overly kitsch. Our room was a good size.The shower and shampoo/soap was great. Nice sized bathroom, good towels. Enough space to hang clothes for a few nights. Breakfast was good. Bread/toast, pain au chocolate, cereals, yoghurts, fruit, juice, tea, and coffee. There was an egg boiler so you could cook your own egg. Not loads to choose from but enough to eat and it helped me not overeat, which is often a problem on holidays!

We survived without aircon, but any hotter than 33/34°C may have been a different story. The bed was a little too firm for me. No decaf coffee at breakfast.

My second time staying here. It's in an excellent location, close to the metro, with plenty of places to eat and drink nearby but not at all noisy. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed

one of the window blinds was broken so there was so much light in the room. Noise coming from the street even if it was on a Sunday night. Small room and small bathroom I almost fell on the shower.

Charming decor in a convenient location

Really fun, vintage decor and furnishings, very friendly staff, pretty good breakfast, solid location close to lots of sights within walking distance and/or easy access to public transportation

The room itself was a bit small and the bed could have been a bit more comfortable but neither was a huge point of dissatisfaction. Other than that, it was a cute little place to stay.

Everything is good enough. The only thing is that breakfast is an absolute self-service (even boiling eggs). I cannot say that this disadvantage, - a kind of new experience, I have never seen this before. Coffee was good, that is very important.

the Juices are from the supermarket. It would be good to have a self-service fresh-press orange juice as an option, - otherwise, it looks a bit cheap service.

Price was okay, location okay, 60s/70s decor nice

Beds were small and uncomfortable. No air con in rooms. Electric socket and appliance cables frayed and loose in room. Balcony / fire escape door would not close properly

Nice hotel with helpful staff in a convenient location

The staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooms are modest, but comfortable. There are numerous restaurants nearby as well as supermarkets. The hotel is nearby public transportation.

An elderly couple entered my room while I was undressed. Their key (from across the hall) opened my locked door. The Concierge said it was not the first occurance, this security risk raises alarms.

Ideal location

Fabulous, quirky hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Nice communal chill out areas, clean and comfortable rooms. Quiet area with easy access to public transport and walking distance to Grand Plaza. Would definitely stay again.

Stylish, quiet, ideal stay in Brussels

Really perfect location if you don’t want to be in the middle of tourist mess but still being able to walk to the city center. We had the top floor room, it was very quiet, the bed was confy. We didn’t get the breakfast but for 10€ it seemed very good. The staff was very kind, friendly and helpful.

Stayed fpr 3 nights in 3 different rooms including the camper outside and loved everything about thenstay! From the friendly staff to the tasty candies they have at the reception, very well located in a beautiful street that has tone of the best restaurants in brussels to a super market and a night market as well. We were supposed tonspend one night inly we ended up spending more time thanks brussels

Like an excellent family run B&B in a quaint but modern styled city location

Quaint, small hotel that has around 6 or 8 rooms on five floors, with a very small lift and higgledy stairs between each level. However, it is refurbished to a modern stylish design and is exceptionally clean. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, like a family run small hotel in the middle of Brussels. Very good value for money too

I would definitely not suggest this hotel for many reasons. First of all the heating was centrally controlled and there was no option to adjust it by yourself. No one informed us about it and we found out by ourselves by repeatedly asking the staff. One morning there was no hot water in the room and their explanation was that they checked and the water is hot enough for them. The staff was not well trained and professional. They were unable to reply to basic questions about how the hotel is operating regarding above mentioned problems about heating and hot water. We did not expect experiencing such problems during our stay in a hotel with such score in Booking.
