It said on hotels.com that they had a gym and a spa for their guests. The cost for the spa was 35 euro, but it was no info that you had to pay 35 euro for the gym. I talked with the manager and informed her about the text on hotels.com, that it was no information about the cost for the gym. I booked this hotel only because they had a large gym I could use. The manager told me that she new about the "problem" and that she had informed Expedia about it. So after a long discussion where I believed I had the right to use the gym (free of charge) the manager did not agree and would not let me use it for free..... And just to top off the bad service, the next morning there was no hot water in the shower. I let the water run for 30 minutes. Tried calling the reception, no answer. So it ended up being a very cold shower that morning. At checkout, there was a cheerful girl who had only one excuse, she had just started work.

Room and location were great, nice and quiet and a short walk to the city centre and plenty of places to eat round about. Major downpoint for me is that it was advertised with a gym, swimming pool, spa etc. To get access to these you had to pay €35 per person, any other hotel I have stayed in this is all included. On the first morning the lights in the room turned on just before 6am, when we asked at reception about this we were told this is what happens which we found odd. We were later told its a security feature if the room is too dark then if the sensors pick up movement the lights turn on. Weirdly this didn't happen again for the rest of the stay so not sure what was going on. Overall, staff that we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is worth staying in and enjoyed our stay.

We had chosen this hotel as the gym looked good. The location is decent too. We tried to contact the hotel via their online chat twice to check if there was any charges for using the gym and/or spa. However, there were no replies. upon arrival we were told about the facilities but no charges mentioned. i asked about going to the gym, they said its 35 Euros to use the gym! per day! you have to get spa access to use the gym basically. i have NEVER been to a hotel in all the 70 countries i've visited where they’ve charged to use the gym. the young man on reception was rather rude about it too. the rooms are small and tatty. the headboard had rips in it, the bedside reading lights weren't working and hanging by a thread. The tv can't connect to the internet so can't use any of its smart features I also found a pair of worn ladies underwear by the safe. DISGUSTING! They don’t stock alternative milks in the bar/dining either.

Great space, facilities and staff. This is my second visit to this hotel and the only thing negative to say is the music is pretty terrible. It's bad covers of famous songs that seems to play on repeat throughout the day.

Place was in worse shape than expected. Staff were rushed. Spa is OK - not a hot tub but a lukewarm pool. Mattres very worn out and rooms much smaller than expected.

Our room was tiny but clean. There is no lock on the door so if you are inside the staff can enter your room! The hallway is extremely small and the staircase was smelly so we needed to squeeze yourselves in a tiny area and wait for the elevator. Everything is very modern and minimalist. There was a suspicious device on the ceiling that looked like a motion detector/ camera!!! The pool and spa is not free, they charge €35 / pp but looks beautiful. Kind of scary basement though. If you don’t check out before 11:00 am, they charge extra €10 per hour. The staff are very nice. I think is overpriced for what you get.

It has a good location and the decor is homely. Could be improved: cupboards and drawers in the rooms (there is no space to store clothes); at least more coat hooks (I asked at the reception and they told me they didn't have any); something about the bad smell in the lift; provide hair conditioner; and check that the lights are working (not all the bulbs are on).

The staff was excellent. Olivier at the front desk was very helpful. We found the cappuccinos and hot chocolate a the hotel were the best. Camille at the bar during breakfast is a had worker. Dolce Amore and TerO are excellent restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. When I do return to Belgium I will be staying here for sure.

This place was amazing, the staff are nice and very welcome! Ideal location if you want to impress your GF or your other half. The possibility to play with the light system to make it the way you want it’s just amazing. Definitely looking forward to comeback!

Harmon House is an elegant boutique hotel in the perfect location of Brussels! A 5 minute walk to the high street shops and 30 minute walk to Grand Place! The gym is excellent with absolutely every possible piece of equipment available. The spa is faultless, a powerful and hot steam room, a beautiful dimly lit pool area at a good temperature, with ultra modern changing rooms and a waiter on hand for drinks. The bedrooms (We were upgraded to a Master Suite due to the double room being not to our expectations) are fantastic and spacious! A huge bath and shower area and Smart TV! Only improvement in my opinion could be for the option of food. It would’ve been nice to sit in the bar area, and have food options as next door (Pentahotel) had food and sports bar facilities! As for how staff are, Thiago was absolutely excellent and provided amazing assistance to us! He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our stay! Special Thanks Thiago!

Amazing hotel and friendly/helpful staff. My husband and I stayed here as our 2nd hotel in Brussels because I wanted a little bit more of a comfortable yet elevated experience instead of always going for the cheapest option, and am I glad I asked my husband to do a second hotel! This was such a nice hotel in a better/cleaner location. The location was also near metro stations and tram stations. It's right by a convenience store and many other restaurants. The staff were super nice to us and were able to accommodate us even though we arrived early. We were only looking to ask them to help us store our bags since we got there at 10am, but the gentleman at the reception said they already had a room available so we didn't have to wait. Thank you so much for that! I also appreciate that both sides of the bed had a touchscreen feature that helps us control room temp, a do not disturb feature, helps us with turning on/off lights, and an ambiance feature.

The location of the hotel is great - multiple shops and restaurants around. The bed was comfortable, the room was big. I enjoyed the mini fridge and complimentary coffee. However, there needs to be more amenities in the bathroom: hand soap, conditioner would be nice.

Very nice Hotel in a good location. The room was stylish (as expected) and facilities are good. The only slight drawback was the cleaning (the room/bath did not really feel clean after arrival) and the noise from our neighbors. Otherwise a very good choice!

Superb location and awesome welness experience. We stayed in the suite which was amazing. The welness is a must do, with a swimming pool, hammam and sauna. They have a cool bar and seating area. Definitely recommend staying at the Harmon House when in Brussels!
