I’ve submitted a formal complaint

Room didn’t get cleaned in 3 nights no clean towels, and room was too hot! I asked so many times for a fan and/or for the heat to be tuned down - had no response. I broke out in sweat several times

No fresh air

The bar area was nice and the games.

The lighting was way to dark. There were not vents in the rooms, so there was no fresh air coming in and it smelled. The parking was very expensive. I ended up getting sick because of the stuffy rooms and left early to go to the doctors.

Acceptable stay in Brussels close to Avenue Louise.

Staff were very kind and helpful.

They told us initially that they have to move us to another facility. But the manager Tarek helped us in providing a room for us and he was extremely kind. All his care, was to provide us with great service and excellent customer service.

Dark, dinghy, noisy at night

Breakfast was good . Good choice a d no single use plastics

No room sevice unless requested , didnt happen when requested. Teas/coffees not replenished in the 4 days. Very dark dismal decor

Warm Hospitality and Great Atmosphere, Though Rooms Need a Refresh

The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and comfortable experience throughout our stay, and the downstairs reception and Pentalounge offered a stylish, relaxing space with a great atmosphere. The hotel’s location was also a highlight, with easy access to Brussels Midi, the city centre, public transport, and a nearby shopping street full of food and drink options.

The hotel rooms were somewhat dated and less cosy compared to the inviting aesthetic of the main areas, with a mouldy shower, a dirty-looking shower tray, and noticeably worn walls and amenities. While the bed and linens were fresh and clean, the overall room experience didn’t quite match the high standard set by the atmosphere downstairs.

Overall pleasant - but would suggest a better cleaning and keeping your clients warm in cold times.

Breakfast was really good! Beds and pillows were very comfy! Easy checkin/checkout. Really good location! People in the downstairs lounge seemed to have a lot of fun and it had a trendy decor.

Traveling in November, I would have expected a warmer room. Even when AC was turned on to give us 28C, then you still felt the coldness coming in from the windows. The whole wall where the windows were, was cold as ice. Floor in the bathroom - cold as ice. Breakfast area next to the reception - it was cold there as well. Also - you can see some weird yellow stains on the bathroom walls, and the curtains were dirty with big yellow stains. Seems like this hotel does need a bit of an upgrade.

Great place to stay with absolutely wonderful breakfast.

I really liked the hotel facilities. The gym is really well equipped, the bathrooms as well as rooms are spacious. The breakfast is really generous and plentiful.

Some of the carpets were stained. It would be better if they did better job cleaning the carpets.

Good for the money

There's a great vibe, bar and restaurant lively in the evening. Room was comfy, quiet, basic gym but well equipped and clean. Good buffet breakfast, parking indigo with direct access from the hotel s lobby

Cleanliness of the room (especially bathroom) was skimpy, quite a bad odor. Wished they had a deal with the parking garage, for at least a discount as full price is 26EUR/day. I found the lighting switches difficult to figure out, quite unintuitive.

Pleasant stay, with good breakfast

Stay was pleasant with good breakfast. Room was spacious, clean and quiet. Staff was very helpful. After check out, you can leave bags at reception if you need to go out for some hours then pickup your stuff. And if you're in a hurry, they can call taxi for you.

After 4 days, there was some issue with shower drainage, but i just reported to reception staff and it was fixed later in the day. Also, some very minor issue where the usb power port had been pushed into the wall, making it unusable.

Great location and predictable setting. We’ve stayed at Pentas before. Staff was very helpful and kind to us

In all of our stays though we found the light system incredibly confusing? The switches always leave a light on so we had to sleep with the entryway light on since it did not go out no matter what switch we turned. Even after we took the key card out of the slot the light stayed on all night. And also we had the suite with the room attached and all the electricity in there did not work so it seemed like a waste of money for an unusable room. Also there was an old cracker or cookie under the sofa in there

great hotel for a short city break, massive room and beds !

Very modern hotel with nice bar area, pool table etc. Rooms were a great size and the beds were massive! Large bathroom with walk in power shower. Location was in the main shopping area with Designer shops and 15 minute walk to the main train station

The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept on. And the breakfast and coffee was absolutely delicious and absolutely worth €18 (if booked in advance)

Decent but would likely choose another location due to noise concerns.

The receptionist was super friendly. Dinner was delicious, and they had an incredible breakfast spread. Well worth the extra charge! Lounge and bar were amazing with complementary pool and fusball tables. Parking was directly underneath hotel.

The rooms felt a bit dingy. We were moved to another room because of a very strong odor. The walls are paper thin and we heard conversations from next door throughout the night along with nearby trams in the morning making for restless sleeping. Bed was a bit on the hard side. Pillows and towels could be renewed.

Despite friendly staff, and very good bed, I will not stay there anymore.

Staff was very kind and useful. Very attentive to customer needs. Always a smile. Italian shower in bathroom and commodities in room such as laptop size safe and (empty) minibar.

Rooms were not well isolated from Avenue below and from communicating next room . Even at 6th floor you could hear the noisy tram passing by below, despite I kept my doubled pane windows closed. Also people with no respect nowadays for sleep hours. One shouting like a drug or drink addict at 3 AM. I had difficulties to get back to sleep. The town where I was born has changed for the worse. The air conditioning was noisy as well, and walls of bathroom need a refresh. The worse: their parking is a public parking next to hotel (25€ a day, no matter if you stay less than 24hrs). Small slots and two paying machines on three not working or accepting my Luxembourg bank card. It took me 20 minutes to get out of there! In fact I decided I would never, ever, return to Brussels again. They can shove up their 30 km/hr limit and their electric scooters.

I had a very comfortable stay at this hotel.

Nice and clean rooms, very comfortable bed. The lounge area and in general the interior of the hotel was amazingly designed. Very good breakfast, nice bar and the usage of pool tables was free for guests which was a nice extra.

Sliding bathroom door with gaps was kind of annoying.

Good location and very cool interior design. Very good breakfast and a nice hotel bar.

The parking garage is very tight and we couldn't fit our Skoda Enyaq into the one free electric car charging spot (out of two), because the other cars were parked so close. The safe in the room was not secured to the wall or shelf.
