The hotel was more like a proper 4 star than the ones we normally find these days.
Pictures at the time of booking showed a much better room than the one we actually got.

Comfortable room and bed. The bathroom was especially nice with toiletries provided. It's a quiet street but handy for the tram and with some excellent local cafes and bakeries.
Only a small part of the window opened so it was hard to get fresh air into the room.

Excellent location. The room was clean and water pressure in the shower was decent.
The aircon was old and difficult to control. A fire alarm glitch at midnight meant it was impossible to sleep for over an hour and this was poorly acknowledged. A tip if you are adding on breakfast - it is €22 per head (!!!) for a substandard buffet. There are much nicer and cheaper places to get breakfast close by.
