Marvellous Sunbathed 3BR at the heart of Paris

Incredible location! The apartment was absolutely perfect for a large group, and the host was highly attentive and always easy to reach for anything we needed. We had a truly wonderful experience in Paris and would highly recommend it to anyone!"

The apartment was bright and spacious, comfortable and well kept. It was good to find basic things like soap, toilet roll, teabags and coffee.

The apartment is top-notch, mostly renovated in a slightly older building, but that's exactly what gives it its special charm. The owner is very responsive and helpful, everything went smoothly and as stated in the very clear instructions, 2 keys. The neighbors are also very friendly. It is located in a great location on Boulevard Sébastopol, 200m north is the Strasbourg - Saint-Denis metro station (number 4, 8 and 9, which goes directly to the Trocadéro station, near the Eiffel Tower on the other side of the Seine) and 100m south is the Réaumur - Sébastopol metro station (number 3, 4). There is a shop on the ground floor of the building, on the other side of the road is a pharmacy and a park, as many cafes and restaurants as you want, 200m away is McDonalds and KFC, 1.5 km from the Seine River, Notre Dame and the Louvre, 50 minutes to Disneyland, you can hardly wish for a better location. The elevator to the 4th floor worked without any problems, and otherwise the access via the circular stairs is not at all strenuous. The parquet is creaky in some places, but it was fun for the children to find and mark the creaky parts. The bathrooms are fairly new, large towels and shower gels are available, but the tiler was not exactly a friend of the plaster and it is already cracked in some places. All 3 bedrooms (1 with a double bed, 2 with a double bed and an extra bed) are very spacious, the beds are comfortable, extra pillows on the beds. The kitchen is very well equipped, utensils and dishes for more than 10 people, the washing machine worked without any problems, cleaning products in sufficient quantities, 3 washing machines are also available. The living room is very spacious with a large dining table and 8 chairs, at the sofa that extends can sleep 2 people. The whole apartment was very clean when we arrived. 4 adults and 5 children spent a great 4 days, the price is comparable to 3-star hotels, but much more luxury and a better experience. We will come again!

The location was great… Walk out the door and you’re there. Plenty of room for myself and my three adult daughters and granddaughter to be comfortable. We did not cook any meals, which is fortunate because the kitchen is rather odd and down a long hallway and not particularly well equipped

The construction that was happening 5 feet outside the bedroom windows. Electric machines, drilling and hammering starting at 8 AM. This was not noted in the description, and the owner refused to acknowledge any imposition the noise caused. Not only refused to acknowledge but was rude and offensive when this was raised. His suggestion was to put the baby in a room away from the construction, which would have buffered some of the sound from the baby, but not from any of the other adults who traveled a long distance and needed respite during the day. Why the owner felt construction noise 5 feet outside. The windows was not a factor or issue is beyond me. I will note that Booking.com customer service was of no help in resolving this issue. I’ve never had to raise an issue with customer service before, but now I know that any bookings with Booking.com are made in pure confidence that everything will be delivered as promised. Which obviously it won’t always be.
