Great convenient location.

Great location close to transport links, variety of restaurants and bars close by. Checking in was really straightforward and clear communication from the hosts.

Would have been nice to have coffee and milk for the mornings.

Fantastic location and a decent stay.

The property has two decent single beds and appliances to make a stay comfortable. It is conveniently located less than 20 minutes walk from the Gare du Nord Railway station and close to many shops, cafés, and restaurants. It is also about 20 minutes walk to Centre Pompidou, and about 35 minutes walk to the Louvre Museum or the Sacred Heart Basilica.

Having to carry my luggage all the way to the fifth floor on a windy staircase was not pleasant. The lack of a lift in the property is a real downer! The bathroom is pretty small and the shower area is so tiny.

We were expecting a bed that would fit two people instead of two separate double beds that could not combine. Instead me and my partner squeezed on one very small single bed. The other single was already damaged where the supporting wood planks were not in the proper place and the mattress would sink down. The neighbors did not follow the quiet hours and were playing music at 11:30

The location was very central and travel on the metro was a 500m walk. Well heated and very clean apartment/ It was very convenient having a microwave, tv, coffee machine and fully stocked kitchen ware.

A fabulous, spacious apartment on a peaceful street in one of Paris's most charming neighbourhoods

The apartment was ideal for my weekend away with my parents. Just two stops on the Metro from Gare du Nord, I was off the Eurostar and into the apartment within 20 minutes of arrival. The characterful apartment is very spacious, particularly for Paris - with high ceilings and across three floors - and comfortable and well-equipped - the beds were very comfortable, the linen and towels all great, and there are handy USB points as well as sockets beside the beds and throughout the apartment. The kitchen has plenty of kitchenware, a microwave and washing machine as well as coffee maker, kettle etc. I had spent some time in the neighbourhood last summer, which is the main reason I booked this apartment, and I wasn't disappointed; Canal St Martin is a fantastic location, packed with local bars, cafes, restaurants and bakeries, and well located for all of the city. It's a great spot from which to walk to many of the major locations, including Notre Dame, the Louvre and Montmartre. And for eating, drinking and evenings out, you need venture no further than the surrounding streets.

I don't love coffee pod machines and prefer to be able to make a cafetiere or stovetop pot of coffee, so one of those would be a great addition.

Fine appartment, though tired

Very close to metro, groceries and an excellent baker

The appartment looked tired. A lot of paint knocked off, which made surfaces look dirty, even if they were not. The faucet and toiletseat in the upstairs bathroom were loose, The upstairs bathroom also ventilates into the indoor stairwell, which necessitates the stairwell windows being open. This however means that the neighbours can look straight into the bathroom

The location was great. The apartment was quirky but had all the necessary amenities.

Only took a point off because it was a little cold and the heating didn’t seem to work. But it was unseasonably cold during our stay.

Owners were very helpful, quick to respond and very friendly. The accommodation was very well located and great value for money given the location, especially for two friends travelling.

The shower attachment was the wrong part and/or broken and so the nozzle could not be suspended. Other than that, very happy with the stay.

It was a brilliant location and had the basic facilities needed for a short stay in a city you will be spending most of your time in exploring

When we arrived at the apartment I was surprised to see a single bed. The apartment suited us perfectly well, we are a young couple and were able to make the sleeping arrangements work with the sofa bed. However, I had not realised that we would get a single bed. That being said, I could’ve misunderstood the booking process, and had booked for that room.

I threw up from the smell, not clean at all.

The location was nice.

I threw up from the smell. I was staying in the downstairs bedroom in the basement. The smell was immediately quite bad and there was a dehumidifier running at all times. Naturally this was quite noisy, so I couldn't sleep much the first two nights but I didn't dare turn it off because of the smell. In the third night, I started throwing up a lot and stayed the last night on the couch on the ground floor. After two days, we also didn't have any warm water in the entire unit which was fun seeing as I was quite ill at that point. The bed-sheets looked like they have been changed but there were quite a few brown spots on them, including on the pillow. I try to tell myself that these were the kind that aren't really possible to get out in the washing machine, but frankly I'm not sure. The shower curtain in the downstairs bathroom was quite moldy and the shower didn't drain well. I refrained from looking why it didn't drain because I feared, I already knew the answer. I paid 900€ for 4 nights which is simply unacceptable. While planning the trip, I skimmed over the reviews to check if there is a clear sign for me to not book this appartement. If you are doing the same this is it. This is your sign.

The roof was leaking when we arrived and the carpet was very wet. When we flushed the basement toilet, feaces came up in the shower next door. No one responded to my message about this.

Good location but would not stay again

Location was pretty good

The photos on booking.com did absolutely not reflect where we stayed. The codes to enter were wrong and we did not receive the correct information to enter the room, the electronic keycard didnt work half of the time, there was a single bed and a sofabed but the sofabed is broken and therefore unable to make into a double bed so we had to sleep separately. We are disappointed with this stay and experience from start to finish. Lots of stairs also which is difficult with suitcases . The cuboaed drawer and the shower head were also broken and we feel as though we paid quite a bit for this experience, so we are disappointed

The entry instructions showed the apartment door and where the door key was kept, but on arrival there was no door key. I'm afraid we saw the whatsapp informing us of the NUKI download as a scam. This could have been made clearer, however the host was able to explain it but it would have been useful to have been told prior to arriving.

Pleasant and close to everything

Close to the metro station, nice and safe location, very French neighborhood, restaurants and grocery stores close to the place too, beds are comfortable, small kitchen but with all the necessary equipment, very independent place and private, you can walk or take the metro anywhere from there.

I will not recommend this place

The apartment was located a few feet away from the train station. There were multiple bakeries in the area and a store to get all your essentials

MOLD!!!! The main door had to be forced open. There was a horrible smell through the house, so strong it seemed as if someone was trying to cover another scent. The fridge was dirty and smelled horrible. The upstairs bedroom had no privacy, it’s located near the living room and has a huge window as a separator. The shower downstairs has mold and was extremely disgusting. The ceiling in the shower looked like it’s going to cave in.

The location is excellent, very central. It was also nice to have a kitchen.

The 4 air fresheners were a bit too intense in such a small studio, we had to take them outside and leave them in the hallway. The small bathroom might be a problem for larger people.

quite a disappointing accommodation which needs serious cleaning.

The central location of the property is its best feature.

So much to say…it was dirty. Especially the bathroom I have never seen such a dirty shower curtain used in a rental/hotel before, there was thick grime or mould? in many corners of the bathroom. I attached pictures. The flat was on the 5th floor with no lift I was not given the choice and it was not the one advertised on booking. I have knee issues, it created unnecessary difficulties. It got very hot and sweaty and there was no air conditioning. all interaction were by WhatsApp which is good if you don’t like human contact, it was efficient but lacked warmth and a sense of welcome. But really what bothered me the most was the state of the bathroom. This is the most dirty place I have ever stayed at, hence the review.

Impossible to have a breakfast in the apartment, due to the lack of chairs & table
