Lucca is a historical walled city, so you have to walk into town. But this property is only 12 mins from train station so easy to find and navigate.
Gabriele is the son of the owner and is absolutely lovely. Communication was great, and he very kindly stayed an extra 15 mins so I could check in before the standard Italian lunch break. Through the stay, he was incredible kind and helpful and is a real credit to the family that own this property.
The rooms are in a beautiful old building with an entry under a galleria. Lift (best for luggage) to first floor. Large breakfast room.
My room was very spacious, with a large comfortable bed and sitting space. Large modern bathroom. Very clean. Very quiet (I think only two of the four rooms were being occupied).
Breakfast was amazing with many cereal/fruit/pastry/continental choices and espresso coffee.
The location is very central and it's easy to walk everywhere in Lucca.
I loved my stay here and would highly recommend.
Nothing. There are no facilities but that's not why you visit Lucca! The location is amazing for exploring and enjoying this beautiful city.

It was clean, had a lift, good position, staff were helpful.
Air conditioning was in bad position, facing the same level as the bed. The room wasn’t suitable for 3 people.
