Cozy room with great bathroom, quiet area in Lucca

Room was cozy and warm. Bed was comfy with the option to use the queen or an additional twin bed. Bathroom was average size. Shower always had hot water. Owner was very friendly and communicated on whatsapp. Quiet area.

Location is outside of the touristy part of Lucca, which made picking up the bus difficult. Just be prepared to walk 20 mins to get to the center or an transport stations.

A pleasant stay, would return and recommend to others

Pleasant comfortable room. We had a fairly small double bed but still slept well. Very good value for money. The location is great, just a short walk into the historic centre. Deborah was very helpful, especially telling us about the best parking. Outside the city walls but still only a short walk. (We could have had a code to get close to the property but decided we didn’t need that). All in all a very good stay.

Not dislike exactly but the aspect from the windows is directly onto the multiple windows of the property across the narrow alleyway so we had to keep the curtains drawn for privacy. So no natural light.

The room is not as shown in the pictures. It’s older and darker. I don’t thing it’s worth the money they are charging.

very nice rooms- good location- and a good price

No breakfest available but we knew it from the start we had breakfast in a square really near the hotel - we could walk around the town easily - the rooms were very nice -and the lady in charge you could speak to her by phone any time and she was helpful always.

Overnight stay in Lucca, March 2025

🙂 The location was handy for restaurants and shops. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Comfy beds. There was heating in the room to compensate for the slightly chilly weather. Extra pillows and blankets. Lovely bathroom with toiletries. Good value. 🙁 The walk from Lucca railway station was a bit of a hike with suitcases. I'd suggest taking a taxi especially with bigger suitcases. The property wasn't easy to identify from all the other properties on the street. Nobody on site before 3pm check-in time; all other contact was by phone. The room was very dark and faced a high,peeling wall across the street. We could hardly see the sky. Noise from traffic kept us awake. No lift. Not a problem for us but could be awkward for guests with mobility issues. Advertised as B&B but no provision for breakfast. Overall I would have liked to give a higher rating for our stay,but the minus points sadly outweighed the plus. Despite the cleanliness and comfort of the room and the overall value for money,we wouldn't have wanted to spend more than a night there.

A tasteful, comfortable room in a fantastic location. Fabiana was extremely helpful in recommending wonderful places to eat.

The second bed, being a sofa bed, wasn't the most comfortable. Also, we would only describe the breakfast as adequate.

Great place to stay for a short visit.

Our host was delightful and very helpful suggesting an excellent local restaurant and arranging a taxi for our return to the train station. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and immaculately clean. Breakfast was plentiful.

Very good

The room was clean and comfortable, size was great. It had air conditining which was very appreciated in the hot Italian summer. The location was perfect, just a short walk less than 10 mins) from the city walls and from a big car park and yet very central and convenient to reach all the major sightseeings in Lucca. Personnel was very available and happy to answer all the questions, including suggesting some places to go in Lucca and around Tuscany. Breakfast was abundant and very good. Definitely recommended!!

Fantastic B&B in a great location!

Perfect location. Walking distance from all of the local landmarks. Room was larger than expected, and decorated to a high spec. Fabiana greeted us, and was very friendly and gave us lots of ideas of what to do and where to go. She was also very patient with me practicing my Italian!!
