Fairly large with nice little patio and comfortable bed!

The 2 sets of steps - one to bedroom and then one to bathroom! I had booked as “ground floor”! In beginning due to my balance and mobility issues at 83 it was tough, but I eventually found best ways to navigate! Problem with coffee maker! It would be helpful in future to have a list of how to operate this and A/C! Maybe recommended restaurants too!

5* Courtyard setting, clean, safe & perfect location.

This is a 5* courtyard haven which is perfectly located close to centre of Lucca & yet so peaceful. Hosts were very friendly, welcoming & helpful. Easy check in/check out process. Very safe for solo travellers. Highly recommend & will definitely stay again when I visit Lucca.

A magical, peaceful, and beautifully cared-for stay in Lucca - simply perfect.

Absolutely everything. This was one of the most magical places we stayed on our entire trip. The facilities are beautiful, spotlessly clean, and feel brand new, with so much thought put into every detail. The owners are the kindest, most wonderful people - they went above and beyond for us, even helping when we accidentally left a suitcase behind after check-out. The alfresco area is gorgeous, perfect for enjoying a coffee or meal in a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. The whole property radiates care, comfort, and beauty. I can’t wait to go back.

Very much enjoyed my stay in Lucca!

I travelled to Lucca for a wedding and was staying in Lucca my own. The property was nicely decorated and had everything I needed for my trip. I felt very safe while staying there. I especially enjoyed the courtyard for sitting outside to relax. It is shaded so you don’t get too hot (I went in August!).

It was very comfortable, clean and great location. It was a good size to relax in and there was a nice little area to sit out albeit it was too cold when we were there. It had good facilities and a quirky design. The just was very helpful and quick to respond to texts.

Lovely owners. Excellent central location - very quiet too! Comfortable bed Newly fitted bathroom with excellent shower Efficient heating and air conditioning Opportunity to sit outside if visiting in summer.

No label on doorbell so had to telephone to check I had arrived at the right address. The photos did not accurately reflect the tiny size and darkness of the room. No windows to open and curtains needed to be permanently closed as the room looks onto the courtyard. No milk and only one teabag on arrival. I had to ask for the fridge to be switched on. Problems sorted out quickly but it wasn’t an auspicious start.

A lovely relaxing stay in a perfect location.

The apartment was a short walk into the centre of the Lucca walled town. It was clean, spacious and secure. The beautiful garden courtyard was a delight to sit in. The host Simone was very helpful and courteous. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved the courtyard the most, it was so relaxing! Not just that though, the room was big, cool and clean, the bed very comfortable and it was nice and quiet even though it’s so close to the centre of town and the many brilliant restaurants/bars. (Simone told us about some absolute beautiful ones!). Fantastic!

The comfort and style of room and lovely courtyard setting made his the perfect stay for our week in Lucca. Very quiet location. The hosts are super helpful with information about the area and recommendations for restaurants . High standards for cleanliness . Rooms are serviced daily. The hosts kindly provide use of bicycles which we had great fun cycling the walls of Lucca. Highlight of our stay was the Puccini Opera night.

One of the best accommodations I've ever been in Italy.

This place is just amazing! It was one of the best accommodations I've ever been in Italy. Let's start with a location: it's on a quiet street in the city centre. There are several restaurants, wine bars, and cafés within a few minutes walk. Our room was clean and tidy, and it's a cosy interior design. There is a courtyard, which you can use. It's so relaxing to hang around there. Our hosts were super nice and friendly. They provided every information a traveller might need to enjoy Lucca. And the bonus: there were nice bicycles to use for free. Lucca is a very bicycle-friendly city. Riding a bike here is a fun way to get to know the city. Absolutely recommended place!

Beautiful courtyard, updated room, lovely stay.

the courtyard was lovely, and the bathrooms had been renovated. The pillows on the bed were the best of our stay in Italy (there were 2 per person, and they were soft and fluffy - not flat like most other places). The bed was on the firm side for our taste, but we would still stay here again. There was a small desk where I was able to work one day of our stay. Great communication and friendly hosts/staff.

The internet wasn't working one of the two days we were there. That wasn't the fault of the host and after contacting them to make them aware of the situation, they contacted the internet provider and had someone dispatched that afternoon to resolve the issue. Their communication was great and understandably, it wasn't their fault the internet wasn't working. It was just inconvenient. Be sure to have cell/mobile service in order to check in, as you need to call/what's app the property to let them know you arrived (or stay in touch in advance). The bell at the front door wasn't working.

Think on the perfect stay - it is here! They thought on all details that can only make your stay perfect! Everything was very modern and confortable, we got the bikes and did the "mura passegiata" in the afternoon. Everything was amaing!

Comfortable Rooms midst delightful courtyards setting - Perfect Location - Charming hosts.

Charming property located within the walls and in a quiet road, but literally minutes away from restaurants, shops, the walls and attractions such a Palazzo Mansi, Puccini's Museum etc. The owners were extremely helpful giving us good tips as to which restaurants to eat at and places to visit. As we were leaving we had difficulty finding a taxi, but Simone very kindly took us to the train station in his own car. Our rooms looked out onto a delightful courtyard with pots of oranges, lemons and bourgainvillea and a little fountain. I would definitely return.
