Lucca and the guest house are both gorgeous!

The room was comfortable. The information for getting the keys etc was brilliant. Location is amazing.

I didn't like that the bathroom was outside of the room. I missed that part in the description! It was right at my room and really gorgeous and clean so not a big problem, just wasn't what I expected.

Great location in the city centre. Pretty building. Great communication from host. Family room had access to a fridge and microwave in the communal room. Note the property has shared access to a common room and bathrooms are accessed through communal hallway (while I was there there was one other guest and we each had a bathroom). Room doors have individual keys.

No major issues - at price point it is a great option for a base in Lucca

Value for money

Basic accommodation but clean and very central. Good for the money. Make note that you have to walk in a communal area to get to your bathroom. We have two teenage children who had the room next to us, it worked well with teenagers but would not be suitable for younger children.

Location is amazing, right in the heart of Lucca. Building is old but it has a soul. Value is very reasonable.

Very pleasant!

We had a lovely stay in this guest house! The owners / staff were so helpful and kind!! The room was clean and spacious, we also had a good bathroom. There was a shared kitchen with some equipment and coffee / tea etc. The location was also great, we were at the busy areas of the city centre in no-time. We would definitely recommend!!!

It was an excellent stay over all. Very relaxing, great for travelling alone.

I love that they had some goodies in the kitchen for all the guests for free. The room was also very very beautiful. The accommodation is central and in a very safe neighbourhood.

It was a bit expensive for it to not have air conditioning and the bathroom was quite small. But the price was also affected by the music festival in the city I reckon.

Perfect location, very close to the old city center and main touristic spots, restaurants and shops. Room is beautifully arranged and very cozy, attention to details, comfortable bed. Small breakfast area with essentials as coffee, tea, small snacks. Hosts are very welcoming and offer tips for the stay.

We had à room on the street side, it was a very hot night & we had to open the window - the fan did not cool enough & there was a lot of noise.

Short but pleasant and comfortable stay with sweet hosts!

Comfortable stay—we only stayed for one night. Coffee, snacks, and candy provided! Coffee pods were so good! Room was charming. Towels and soaps provided. Dresser and closet with hanger. Space was clean and comfy. Communal area had plush sofas and candy. Lovely hosts let us drop off our backpacks before check-in so that we didn’t have to walk around with a bunch of extra weight. We were also recommended some places to eat/see!

Doors were a bit finicky trying to open them with the keys and even when leaving. Need to use some force to open some of the doors. Our room itself never locked, which was fine since it didn’t seem like there was anyone else staying there, but would’ve been nice if we can lock it. Small shower—not the best for plus sized people. Wi-Fi didn’t work the best, but we got by okay

The electrical outlets didn't work or plugs fell out. Maybe we didn't understand because we don't speak Italian but the promise of coffee was a failure. No coffee pods, or if there was we didn't know!

Eigentlich nichts, es war nur etwas kompliziert, das Zimmer abzuschließen, da das Schloss sehr alt und ausgeleiert ist. Aber nach einer Weile bekommt man es hin.
