Great Luck in Lucca!

I liked everything-it was nice to be able to park the car and be able to bring our luggage into the room easily. The hosts were so gracious, they even provided bicycles and umbrellas! And they gave wonderful advice about what to see!

The owner was incredibly welcoming and offered me coffee and water upon arrival, which was a lovely touch. They also kindly offered me a bike to explore the city, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

B&B is amazing and the host is even better!

The B&B is beautiful and well-kept, my room was spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable - just what I needed after a day of cycling Pisa to Lucca. The breakfast was just as described - plentiful and delicious. Above and beyond this is Victoria - she is the most lovely and accommodating host I've ever had. She not only takes care of your every need, but truly wants you to feel at home. I will DEFINITELY stay here again.

A great overnight stop in the city of Lucca whilst walking the Via Francigena

BnB Villa Melony is a wonderful property a short walk from the city walls. Bicycles are available to ride into the centre and around the city if you want. A lovely room, wonderful breakfast and delightful host.

The host Vittoria was very nice and accomodating . The bnb was only five minutes away from the city center by bicycle that was provided . The room was very decent and the bathroom was impecably clean . I would highly recommend .

My stay was so amazing and beyond expectations!

The rooms were super comfy and clean. Victoria was the absolute sweetest host!! She has bikes you can use to ride in and around the city. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Lucca!

Nice& cosy b&b

Host was really nice and most helpful! Everything was clean and functional. Spacious apartment at least at the top floor. Cosy breakfast, pastries and waterbottles availably all the time! Free bikes were useful, ride to old city was joy to whole family.

Air conditioning wasn't very effective, nor sitting area in garden. Some noice from the street since it's right next to the building.

Highly recommend to stay here as it's quiet and the host provides 5 star service.

Great service from staff and amazing breakfast (big spread including sandwiches, tarts, croissants, local pies etc) with 24/7 coffee and bottled water (even some 5 star hotels charge for bottled water). Bathroom was well equipped with new showerheads and good heater. The staff offered to fetch me from the train station for free. The first of such experience in all my BnB stays. If you ask nicely, she may also offer to drop you off at station when you leave. I purposely chose a place that is 20 minutes by walk to Lucca city to experience the local living while walking (there are 2 big grocery stores nearby and local oven pizzaria. If you prefer, there's a direct bus just 1 minute walk from the BnB. Staff was also super helpful when I needed some help on having a driver to Grotto del vento, as I can't drive. There was also a small black out and Victoria came within 10 to check on us.

Last minute Gem would stay again

centrally located had a 3 night stay , walking distance to Lucca and quick commute to Pisa - all ammenities close by (supermarket, laundry , train , bus ect) - parking on site , great breakfast and room .Kitchen facilities available- great pizza restaurant next door- the hostess was great - would stay again

This is a top BnB with an excellent hostess - friendly and very helpful.

It’s about a 20-30 minute walk into town; so if you’re not with a car you need to master the bus system or borrow one of the BnB’s bicycles.

Exceptional

The two bedroom apartment was lovely and just perfect for us! It was located close enough to the walled city gate that bicycling was east. The owners are fabulous hosts and were so helpful in making sure my daughter’s dietary needs were met. They even prepared a breakfast for us early in the morning when we had to leave before the regular breakfast hours. The breakfast was fabulous. A great assortment of food and the rolls/bread were still warm when we arrived. The owners have a fleet of bicycles to borrow and offered great suggestions for activities and restaurants. There is parking onsite if you need it. And there was a convenience store nearby that provided anything you needed.

Superb

The place is extremely clean, the room is spacious as it´s the bathroom. the breakfast is simply superb. The hostess was helpful and attentive guiding us and answering our questions for recomendations. No noise at all, and an extra point is the privete parking for the car.Even if it´s not in the city center the place is very close so you can get to it in a 10 min walk, and have a nice pizzeria in the neighborhood,

super nice BnB with a great host

Villa Melany is a very cozy BnB in close proximity to the historic city centre of Lucca. it requires a 10 minute walk to get there. The host is super friendly and even took care of our baby while we had breakfast 😊 she provided an Italian (generally sweet) breakfast to start the day. there is a private parking lot behind the house which is included in the price for a room. coffee & water is included as well.

A little gem near Lucca

Beautiful location. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The breakfast was superb. The owner Daniele was exceptional, very kind, hospitable and accommodating. He helped us in every small detail. We will definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the outskirts of Lucca.

A great place to stay!

The owner of this delightful property could not be kinder or more generous. It is slightly out of the walled city but in easy walking distance. The place is sparkling clean. The owner put fresh flowers in our room which was a nice touch. Water and coffee was always available and the breakfast was a typically European. If you would like a bottle of wine to enjoy while there, walk to the Conad which is a 2-3 minute walk.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like but please be aware that it is outside of the walls but within easy walking distance.

Breakfast was great! They served home grown melons, all kind of pasties, prosciutto, varieties of fruits and drinks.

I liked everything, BnB was just reopen and everything such as rooms, common areas etc was all was new and decorated in good taste and style. Done

Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin, die uns bei der Abreise nach Kenntnis der langen Fahrtstrecke nach Hause noch Verpflegung kostenfrei mitgab. Die kostenfreien Leihräder konnten wir aufgrund der späten Anreise leider nicht mehr nutzen. Zum Essen mussten wir um 21.15h nicht mehr in die Stadt, weil direkt nebenan eine interessante Pizzeria war. Sehr sauber geführte Unterkunft mit eigenem Charme.

Tolle Betten. Lage ein bisschen weit nach Lucca, aber es gab Fahrräder und damit machte es richtig Spaß. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls prima.
