Perfect place for a few days of relaxation.

Loved the pool and pool beds, the bed in general, the breakfast, the decor of the villa! The restaurant down the street was amazing. The couple running the b&b were very nice, even though English communication was a bit of a challenge.

Even though the option of lunch seems to exist, there was no one to ask during the day. The garden is so beautiful that we were a bit surprised that no one took the effort to tidy up the pool (straighten up the beds etc) at the end of the day or made sure some lights were on in the garden for an evening glass of wine after dinner.

Lovely rustic characterful property, great welcome from manager and everyone exceptionally friendly. Room spacious and clean. Children very much welcomed. Great honesty bar to get nice cold beers at leisure. Relaxing stay.

The only thing I have to say is compared to other similar properties we have stayed at in tuscany we feel like it is too high price to value ratio for what is on offer. We paid 310 euros per night and would have expected breakfast to be amazing but it let the place down. Also the kids got mattresses on the floor for this price not beds. I have no idea what is going on with the pastries always burnt on top and soggy on the bottom really disappointing !! Also when we booked it said private kitchen and it is shared but has since been changed on the description. No problem with this as everyone who was staying there was very friendly.

This property is incredibly charming, beautiful details, rambling rooms, everything you hoped you’d stumble into in the Tuscan countryside. It felt like someone’s home we were invited to stay in… which technically it is 💫💫

Nothing actually - but indeed if you’re expecting a hotel, its not, this is a guesthouse, a little shabby chic…we were very happy with our days there

Abbastanza positivo, a parte per uno sconosciuto entrato nella nostra camera

Questo é il secondo anno di seguito che vengo a Villa Nottolini. Oltre all’aspetto affascinante della villa in sé, altri fattori positivi sono sicuramente il parcheggio a disposizione dei clienti, il wi fi gratuito e la comodità delle singole stanze, dotate di tutti i comfort necessari.

Il primo anno non abbiamo avuto alcun problema, ed é stato anche questo ad aver spinto me e il mio collega a volerci ritornare, purtroppo però, quest’anno, é accaduto un fatto che ci ha fatto rivalutare abbastanza negativamente l’esperienza: durante la prima notte passata in villa, più o meno intorno all’una del mattino, una porta che si trovava nella nostra camera (non quella principale di ingresso, ma una porticina secondaria) é stata aperta improvvisamente da uno sconosciuto (eravamo convinti che quella porta fosse chiusa a chiave). Fortunatamente l’individuo era solo un’altro cliente (probabilmente appena arrivato) che stava cercando i proprietari della villa e, non appena capito l’errore, si é subito allontanato. Quando l’indomani abbiamo fatto presente la cosa allo staff questi ci hanno proposto, come unica soluzione, di posizionare una delle poltrone presenti nella camera davanti a quella porta per bloccarla (evidentemente non erano in possesso della chiave di quella porta). La nostra permanenza a Villa Nottolini é durata solo due notti, ma per questo lasso di tempo abbiamo avuto una stanza nella quale, potenzialmente, sarebbe potuto entrare chiunque. Fortunatamente non é accaduto nulla di grave, ma consiglierei ai gestori della villa di controllare adeguatamente ogni singola porta dell’edificio e, soprattutto, di proporre soluzioni più valide a problemi del genere, che sono sicuramente molto gravi.
