The owner's attention was perfect; he gave us complimentary breakfast. The bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom is very nice. I missed my train because Trenitalia didn't notify me that it had been canceled. I managed to contact the owner, who wasn't here, and he gave me the check-in instructions. He saved our lives last night.

Magnifico soggiorno nel cuore di Lucca. Posizione davvero centralissima:; a pochi passi dalla fermata FlixBus, dalla stazione e circondato da ristoranti, caffè, pizzerie e…gelaterie!
Il palazzo storico regala subito un’atmosfera autentica, quasi sospesa nel tempo, che ti fa respirare tutta la fascinosa bellezza della città.
La camera è ampia e confortevole, con un letto che assicura un ottimo riposo; il bagno privato è pratico e funzionale. Deliziosa anche la cucina condivisa, con arredi anni ’70 che aggiungono un tocco di carattere e personalità.
Un valore aggiunto importante è Claudio, il gestore: disponibile, attento e sempre pronto ad aiutare con grande gentilezza.
Un luogo accogliente, autentico e curato; assolutamente consigliato.

it wasn’t too far a walk from the train station
checking in was not so easy . there are 2 stairs to go up which was kinda ok - however the ‘private’ bathroom was down the hallway from the room . The room was fine -2single beds pushed together to make a double bed - the breakfast was set up but the bread and coffee was not there or perhaps in another spot -I just went to a cafe down on the street for a coffee . I didn’t see one person until just as I was checking out and he was on the phone and waved as I went out the door . The staff are distant and remote .it’s all done via what’s app messaging . It would help and be much better if someone was there to greet you when you got there .
