The room was very comfortable and private. In addition, we had use of a kitchen and sitting area. The owner was very helpful and attentive. He was available at all times and immediately helped with anything we needed. He was really nice!

View from heaven

Location is superb and view could not be better! Bed and blankets were very comfortable and possibly the best pillow during my 2 week Italy trip. There is kitchen and lovely living room for comfortable stay.

Room temperature was 19C is felt a bit cold for sitting on couch and reading a book. The owner did turn on the heating for a moment and it made the situation slightly better. Kitchen spot light was broken, so all the working area was rather dark. PS! There is no sugar or tea or oil, so bring your own! Only plenty of salt ;)

A decent place to stay, very well situated - I would return

This property is very well located, right in the centre of Lucca, although there is not really much of a view - not from my room, anyway. The wifi works well. The bed was comfortable. Everything was very clean. The owner was friendly, helpful and welcoming. I would stay again.

The breakfast was basic, but it was also cheap, so no complaints. There are three flights of stairs, which might be a problem for some people. I am not a fan of sharing bathrooms, but it is a small property, so it was okay.

Lucca città delle mura

La posizione è ottima, vicina sia alla stazione che al centro città. La camere e il bagno erano puliti e graziosi. La stanza dà su un cortile interno e la sera non ci sono rumori. La persona responsabile dell'alloggio è stata puntualissima e molto gentile rispetto all'orario e alle modalità di check-in.

Ci sono tre rampe di scale ripide per raggiungere il piano. Nel cortile sottostante la stanza ritirano l'immondizia la mattina presto e con le finestre aperte è rumoroso. C'è un ventilatore, ma non l'aria condizionata e manca anche un mini-frigo in stanza per conservare qualche bevanda fresca. Il materasso è scomodo.
