Exceptional stay in the Heart of Lucca town

Exceptional accomodation in the heart of Lucca town! The location is perfect to walk around the town, and is close to one entrance to the wall and train station. The room is extremely spacious, modern and well equiped for a comfortable stay. This was one of the most modern rooms I’ve stayed in the Europe and for a great price! The host was exceptional- he had great communication, recommendations and was happy to help organise reservations for us at local restaurants. Fantastic!!

A very nice place with an great location in an amazing city center

Lucca is a gorgeous city, especially within the amazingly intact city wall, where this very nice place is located. The room (and the common area) had a very tasteful design, simple yet elegant. The bedroom itself was not big, but there were plenty of shelf and wardrobes. There were a good sized and equally tasteful bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the aircon did a good job. There was no fridge in the room but there was one in a small, shared kitchen outside the room. TV and wifi worked fine. The host, Andrea, was very friendly and helpful. Each morning he served cappuccino and a delicious, fresh pastry (although I really don't understand the Italian breakfast culture - albeit yummy it must cause a terrible blood sugar dip before lunch - unless you, as we did, dope yourself with gelato or similar to keep it high).

Great place, great host, in a beautiful town!!

The room looked like it was just remodeled, very nice, modern. Andrea was incredible, he was attentive to our stay and needs and was very helpful when asked for help about the town.

Everything, Andrea is a fantastic host. Letting us know where best to visit, and where to eat, very approachable. The b&b is only small, but everything is to hand, including pastries that Andrea brings in the morning. Good shower, comfortable bed, lovely and clean, what more do you need!! Bang in the centre.

We were ok, but the same as other reviews steep stairs to get to the b&b, so if mobility issues not ideal.

Wonderful place to visit. Absolute jewel of a city.

Breakfast was served by our host Andrea. Fresh pastries and delicious coffee, accompanied by a friendly chat about plans for the day. Andrea was helpful in offering suggestions about where and what to visit!, methods of transport etc. The location was ideal. Everywhere just a few minutes walk from the accommodation and in one of the quieter parts of the city.

Unfortunately the two flights of steep steps was a struggle with our suitcases and so not for people with mobility issues. But the advantages and benefits of the apartment far outweighed this inconvenience.

Location in Lucca is perfect, central without being noisy. We had a great stay and Andrea was very accommodating and was always on hand to help us with restaurant suggestions, transport help and more!

Excellent central location

The location was excellent and easy to find. Self check in was fine too and we met Andrea at breakfast the next day. Breakfast was good with myself, fresh pastries and drinks. Our room was very clean and well equipped. Bed was firm and comfortable and shower was excellent. The steps to reach the apartment were steep so wouldn't recommend if you had mobility issues. Good value option, good hosting and comfortable room .
