Great location, lovely receptionists and a room where you control the temperature.

It was within the walls of Lucca and also only a 10-15!minute walk to the train station. The lobby was nicely decorated for Christmas. The room was very basic but comfortable and clean. I could control the heat in the room which was really a plus. Coffee and tea were available until 6pm. There was a dining area and outside sitting area available until 6pm. The receptionists were friendly and spoke excellent English.

Nothing was wrong. The room is basic so if you desire an elegant hotel you may not be happy here. The shower is small and toilet area is a bit cramped. The price is right.

Good place to stay for a couple of nights

Location was great, inside the walls but on a quiet street, very near the train station as well. They let us leave our baggage and check in early, for which we were very grateful. Nice place for a short stay.

A bit noisy as you can hear other residents moving around and talking. Breakfast table was quite modest, but I guess you get what you pay for.

A good value option within the city walls

Very good value for money in a quiet building within the city walls, in a fascinating city. The room was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning was greatly appreciated with the hot weather. Coffee machine is available. I didn't have breakfast as there were cafes close by for a coffee and cornetto.

It's an older building with issues typical of older buildings - the shower takes a long time to heat up, old building noises - that sort of thing. Focus on value and location - not luxury.

Fantastic location, fantastic staff - can't fault it!

It was a beautiful old building, full of character in a fantastic location inside the City Walls. It was spotlessly clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Great breakfast too, and only a 10 minute walk from the train station so was so easy to connect with other beautiful places for a day trip: Florence, Pisa, Viareggio etc. A true gem of an accommodation and can't recommend it enough!

After walking around Lucca B&B ll Seminario was like coming home.

Everyone was lovely during our stay. They gave us a spacious room on the first floor because we were tired due to walking with our luggage from the train station. Free coffee and tea just down the hall. Very comfortable beds and large bathroom.

Welcoming staff, comfortable room, very good breakfast, in a quiet area, not far from centre

Welcoming, helpful staff - I arrived early and was allowed to leave my luggage. Room and modern bathroom both comfortable, spacious and clean. A very good breakfast - it was much more than a usual Italian breakfast having cold meats, cheeses, boiled eggs available. Coffee from machine available through the day. In a nice quiet area yet only about 5 minutes walk from cafes/restaurants/bars. Easy to reach from the train station.

A perfect place to stay in Lucca. Affordable, clean and welcoming!

The location was great, being so close to the train station and out of the busier areas. It felt like coming home with the keys to allow me to enter freely. A comfortable and welcoming experience, whilst enjoying lovely Lucca. Wished I could have stayed longer.

Group of 10 so we had no where to sit together after 7pm. Problems with one of the toilets which wasn't fixed, however, would recommend this B &B.

Surpassed expectations. Happy!

The staff went out of their way to help me with all my needs. Eg I was allowed to check out 1.5 hours later than the usual time, as the room was still free. This was great as I could go for a bike ride then come back and change. I was allowed to bring my bike in as I checked out, to use their adapter to charge my phone, and get changed in the room after I had checked out. If has a peaceful and quiet ambiance. It feels like you are the only guest and are fully attended to. Very relaxing. The bed and bedding was superb. So comfortable. The bar that is open for snacks and hot drinks as you want them, at no charge, was a welcome addition. Great location. Good breakfast, nice selection of continental breakfast, and the gluten free options were relatively varied. Fantastic service. Highly recommend.

The room was a bit small but there was only one of me so I could manage. If you were on the larger side you might not fit in the shower of the one person room. The shower is nice and has good power and hot water, but there's not much space to move your arms eg to wash your hair.

Amazing, relaxing, La Dolce Vita!!

Perfect location, close to the Mura (wall), Porta S.Pietro & the Lucca train station. Spacious Room with kitchenette, cleaned frequently with minimum intrusion. Staff was very helpful with suggestions of restaurants, activities, giving of information & organising Taxi’s. Highly recommend.
