Lovely breakfast with great cappuccinos freshly made and a nice variety of food. Staff really friendly and helpful - gave recommendations for places to visit, and organised a bottle of Prosecco and snacks in my room on arrival for my sister’s 50th birthday - all wonderful!

I liked the location even thought it wasn't at the main address, it was very central and convenient and not noisy. The room was great, it was clean and the bed was very comfortable.
The owner was not friendly to me at all. He didn't even introduce himself. He did take my case to where I was staying, which was a short distance from Via Dell'Anfiteatro. I had been to Lucca before so I didn't need any helpful info but not once did he even try to make any conversation about anything, and I speak Italian. The breakfast certainly didn't live up to other reviews here. Perhaps it was because it was off season and in a different address the selection wasn't as good.
