Fabulous

In the city centre, easily reached from the train station. Room clean, bed comfy, host lovely. A beautiful area of Tuscany. On our next visit to Lucca we would certainly book this accommodation again.

Perfect for my one-night trip!

Excellent central location (although nothing is far from central in Lucca!). Despite being in the heart of the bars/restaurants it was peaceful in the hotel.

Breakfast not til 0830 … but good excuse for an early coffee/cake at one of the many nearby cafes!

Great location, Great B and B

The location of the property was unbeatable. We had the suite room which is in a slightly different location but was brilliant because had a lift to the second floor. Lucca is so lovely anyway and having a lovely room in a great location was an added bonus. Breakfast was generous and the communal kitchen wad great for boiling a kettle when needed. I would really recommend this property

Only one set of keys was available and that made it a bit tricky because my husband and I are quite independent. The owner was very helpful and sorted this out for us eventually

Lovely b&b

Central location, lovely room, comfortable beds. Air conditioning and mini fridge (though we didn't realize it until later). The bathroom had much appreciated toiletries. The towels were not over-supplied. Excellent breakfast. Super friendly staff. We couldn't have asked for more.

Great location right by the main square, offered great restaurants suggestions, several items offered for breakfast, community breakfast area offered wine glasses, and other utensils for our use. Shower was wonderfully hot and rooms ere very clean. Small B&B quaint and comfortable. Security with various locking door made it feel very secure.

Great location and a clean, comfortable and cute B&B.

This B&B is in an excellent location inside the walls and on one of the streets that circle Piazza Antifeatro, and also is close to one of the gates into the piazza. There are restaurants galore on that street, and in the piazza itself. The piazza is a busy spot, but we heard no noise from it. Our room had a comfortable queen bed, ample storage, AC, a reasonable size modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. The artwork on the walls of our room portrayed memorable Lucca landmarks which added character to the space. The breakfast was good -- lots of choices, and one of the owners on site to make you an expresso or cappuccino. Check-in was straightforward. Our cab was able to drop us nearby, and a city bus stop is a short walk away. On our previous stay in Lucca we stayed in a b&b that was close to the Duomo. We found the Antifeatro location to be preferable.

This is not a criticism, just something to be aware of if your mobility is not what it once was -- the B&B is 12 stairs up from the door at the street.

Amazing location - couldn't be better. Room was so clean, comfortable and had everything you would need. Lovely buffet style continental breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Comfy, clean, convenient - a great experience

Really convenient location, very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was great - hams and cheeses, sweet and savoury pastries, yogurt, fruits, and fresh juices. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating, and allowed us to check out earlier than usual because we were taking an early train. But it's good to give them the heads-up in advance!

The remote for the air con was acting up at times, but that was tolerable.

Lovely welcome in Lucca.

Location was central in Lucca about 20 mins walking from train station.The room was comfortable enough for our short stay. Breakfast was tasty with lots of different pastries, cereal ,toast, hot drinks and fruit juice.

The air conditioner did not work and so the room was too warm. When I entered the building at night, the hallway was very dark and it took me minute to locate the light switch. It was very disorienting.

We have stayed many times at B&B Amfiteatro as visit Lucca regularly.They offer property in different buildings all close to the piazza and all decorated in same style..super clean and comfortable with great facilities,many with a shared kitchen which we find extremely helpful.

This has happened twice now..no answer at main reception buzzer..no answer to phone calls(several)Receptionist finally appeared around 20 mins after check in time.Some guests could find this very concerning and stressful and we feel it needs resolving.
