Beautiful, Japanese styled accommodation, which is great for families. Location is excellent and the district interesting with shops and shrines within easy walks.
Nothing, but note tall people may need to duck under some doorways.

Very comfortable bedding and authentic and great location
The railings were not very sturdy and I worried for my older mother

Awesome Location, beautiful old machiya directly in Gion
Inherent to the type of house is the dark interior and the loudness from the street
