Location was awesome, with walking distance to many shops and restaurants. It was very easy to navigate throughout the area.
While its different from what we're use to.. It was a great experience a Japanese style home. I loved everything about it.

The property itself is very cozy and beautiful. We enjoyed the traditional Japanese design. It’s very close to a lot of tourists spots in Kyoto, walking distance to some Shrines and temples. Ninenzaka is just a 10min walk. Close to a bus stop. A 24hr supermarket is just 3-4min walk.
It would’ve nice if every can be accommodated in an enclosed room, sleeping arrangements for 3-4 guests is in the living room. Very closed to the road where cars are always passing by so you have to be extra careful when going out.

Upstairs room had some road noise. Pillows were a little flat to Western standards
