The location is absolutely perfect. A few minutes away from the Hojan-ji shrine, Kiyomizu-dera, Yasaka Koshin-do temple and many others. The ryokan has a typical feel to it, authentic, great calm and sooting atmosphere. Beautifully decorated, great amenities and private Onsen. Typical Japanese breakfast. Great and kind staff. Everybody’s warm and welcoming. ReFa hair tools. A Hotoya matcha shop just around the corner… it was a perfect stay. Thank you!

Nothing. I will be coming back in spring/fall to this same ryokan because of how stunning it is. I love it

The staff are so excellent in how attentive they were towards us. The food, dinner and breakfast was so great and the quality was amazing. The location of the temples and the shopping street is also excellent.

I loved it so much! It was so cute and relaxing and I loved the bathroom.
It was up a big hill. And they didn’t have vegetarian options.
