Sanjoubou Sansou villa

Beautiful cozy quiet nook in midst busy streets. Very clean, modern, amazing location, easy walking distance to everything, LOVED the bathtub. Easy keyless entry, cozy beds , Great views

I was here in the winter, the heating unit is very drying and this place desperately needs a humidifier. Hard to sleep how dry it got at night. No full kitchen, with limited kitchen accessories. no light blinds on the biggest window of the villa, also everything is Open and at night the outdoor lights come on automatically with no way of turning them off. There is no separation from bedroom to rest of villa so if someone is on a call the entire place echoes of it.

Vista excelente, interiores de primera, cuenta con Ofuro amplio y todo muy bueno, solo pudimos estar un día, pero bastante bueno todo.

Todo bien, quizás para subir las maletas, pero todo bien.

The view, the quiet area, the light and the space, the little access to the house is so sweat and typical of the streets of Kyoto, the kitchen was great and the duvet very comfy

The pillows are way to hard and there was no options other than hard pillows. Also it was typical japanese machiya type decoration but a little sofa wouldn't hurt as there is space for it, would make it 10/10

The Sanjoubou Sansou villa is a very spacious, modern and tastefully furnished holiday home. Access was easy and communication during the preparation phase was excellent. Everything that really matters has been designed with comfort and style in mind. You sleep very peacefully and comfortably. The spacious round bathtub is wonderful, allowing you to relax in Japanese style after a long day out. Everything is very clean and well maintained. The large kitchen island is a great place to set the table and enjoy the moment. The small miniature Zen garden is also particularly beautiful. It's a lovely place to spend time in the late evening with a glass of wine, looking out over the bright lights of Kyoto. The location is truly fantastic. Directly behind Sanjoubou Sansou, you can climb a pilgrim's path through rustic terrain to an important temple and enjoy an impressive view over Kyoto. Unforgettable. What is somewhat lacking are a few utensils for preparing food... a chopping board and knife for cutting or peeling vegetables/fruit... so that you can prepare a fresh salad, etc. ...you can go out to eat, but sometimes you want to cook for yourself... the fridge is a bit small if you want to stay for several days.
