Our best stay in Kyoto, the private onsen was wonderful. The location of the hotel near nanzenji temple and Tokyo trail was perfect. The food was incredible, The staff was welcoming and warm-full. An unforgettable moment, a must stay even for one night.

Yachiyo is a charming place with friendly staff and excellent restaraunt. It is located in a very picturesque area of Kyoto and within walkable distance from metro. Highly recommend.

We loved this experience. We opted for the dinner and breakfast option - eating overlooking a beautiful zen garden which we explored. Family loved the hospitality of the staff and the unique experience. From checking your shoes at the door to eating and sleeping on the floor - it felt truly authentic and something they had mastered over the years. The area around it is also very beautiful- doing the philosopher’s walk and seeing the temples and then coming back to this place was magical.
