I rarely do ratings of accommodations. However, this one is clearly outstanding in each and every aspect. We were a group of five, of which two couples, and it was just perfect. The location seems a bit far away from Kyoto centre, practically it is not. Public transport connections are good and there is a taxi stand 5min walk away, with taxi fares being very reasonable. I can only recommend it for a larger group, also because of the nice lounge area and cosy living room. During our stay it became a highlight, not just an accommodation.
