The property is very traditional, very beautiful. Great location. Meals were delicious.
The staff were a little insistent at breakfast. A little more patience in the morning please - let the food get cold. The futons could have been thicker - it was a little uncomfortable.

Great location, with the Kiyomizu-Dera temple being at a walking distance (roughly 25 min). We were 4 people and we had a very spacious, comfortable room (Japanese style). We were always offered an afternoon tea upon returning to our room, which was lovely and very appreciated. We even had the opportunity to try a traditional Japanese breakfast. Definitely a more luxurious and costly expensive but definitely worth it!
