Amazing luxury while authentic, in the woods, private onsen, amazing

Great little apartment in Higashyama district just south of Gion and in the middle of all temples, shrines and attractions, but situated in a very quiet street. We were walking distance to the greatest attractions or a short train ride ( train station less than 5 min walk) or taxi ride away only. A few little neighbourhood cafes were nearby and allowed us to enjoy a morning coffee. The Apartment was perfect for our family of four, lower floor had kitchen bathroom and toilet as well as amazing massage chair. Kitchen had basic ammenities like coffee machine, microwave and oven and fridge freezer as well as kettle. On 1st floor was master bedroom with proper king size bed and kids room with 3 x mattresses on tatami mats and toilet.. House has storage for our cases. It was very clean with large shower, good size bath room amd washing machine and dryer. Outside bath tub was amazing. We found it a neat little gem in the middle of a quiet Kyoto neighbourhood with access to all great sights and districts. Would definitely stay again.

No wardrobe for hanging clothing in bedrooms. No hooks in bathrooms to hang towels washing machine has integrated dryer which took 4 hours to dry clothing which we found a bit impractical. Toaster would have been a nice touch too.

Near quiet street. Space is acceptable.

Only one shower room at level 1. Quite a long walk to train station. Not near amenities.
