Loved the homely feel, close proximity to the train station, incredible traditional dinner and breakfast and hospitable staff. Had a lovely bath after dinner too which had been proactively organised ahead of our arrival. Amazing sleep on the futon beds in a large, cool and authentic Ryokan room

This was far more than a hotel stay—it was a cultural experience. The spacious, immaculate room, private bath, exquisite seven-course dinner, and beautifully presented in-room breakfast were all unforgettable. Every detail, from the flower arrangements to the exceptional hospitality, was thoughtfully curated and genuinely moving.

This was the most incredible part of our trip to Japan and I wish we could have stayed longer. The Ryokan was perfect - good location, beautiful interior and exterior. The staff were INCREDIBLE and the service was 5 stars. The dinner experience was the most memorable thing I’ve ever done. I’ll never forget this xx
