Aki and Anna were exceptionally welcoming and kind and looked after us very well - a real asset to Auberge Azabu. Nothing was too much trouble - from booking restaurants to forwarding luggage. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed.
It is a lovely small Ryokan-style hotel. Whilst the front office staff were exceptional, the Auberge felt a little “exclusive” or maybe expensive for what it is. I think the Auberge could be a little more generous with the toiletries (mini sized) and small towels. We found the room quite small and the price a bit high.

Everything. The hosts were absolutely delightful and welcoming. The property is beautiful, design and functional. It is very quiet and peaceful. And at the same time very well located close to the central station of Kyoto. We felt like home. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. We highly recommend the place.
