This was the perfect place to stay to visit Kyoto. By far the best experience in my visit to Japan. Lovely staff, idyllic and comfortable room, delicious breakfast and well located for the historical treats and cultural experiences of the old city.

We were genuinely impressed by the service. The hotel had a fantastic location, and the rooms were beautiful! I could probably write a whole essay about how much I enjoyed our stay, but I don’t think anyone would actually read all of that. 🤣

For the two days we stayed there, it felt less like a hotel and more like we were visiting a close friend; it was so relaxed and welcoming. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and spotlessly clean. Only one bed was exceptionally soft, which was a bit unusual for us. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful.

They were amazing!!! The whole place is gorgeous, very Japanese traditional, showcasing the culture and adding to the stay experience. All the details they added added to the luxury. Staff was absolutely amazing, took care of everything, went above & beyond to help us with booking events, reservations, helping with translation for taxi and just being super friendly and helpful.
