Staff were very helpful, we needed more padding with the bedding and they bought us extra futons no worries. Cute Japanese style room. Really lovely staff and great facilities.

The street lights did keep the room a bit lit through the night so if that’s an issue an eye mask would be necessary.

Close to the train station, feels like original japanese housing! The staff also always there to help and always nice!

Old toilet, bed on floors was a bit hard for the first night, having to be really cautious about steps and talking

It was my first stay at a traditional ryokan. It is very centrally located in a quiet residential area. I was captivated by the tranquility and the beautiful architecture of the rooms and the inner courtyard. I had everything I needed. Unfortunately, my stay was too short to make use of any of the various services offered. I will certainly recommend it!

Our stay was decent overall, but a specific incident ruined the experience. We expected the firm bedding common in ryokans, but we did not expect the total lack of noise control. On our second night, we were disturbed by guests several rooms away who were being extremely loud and inappropriate. ​Even with earplugs, I was woken up three times between 1:00 AM and 4:00 AM by shouting and other disruptive noises. Both the receptionist and I were ignored when we tried to ask them to be quiet. It wasn't until I had to firmly confront them at the door at 3:00 AM that it finally stopped. The staff's inability to handle this situation was disappointing. A place of rest should never feel this chaotic.
