This was a very authentically traditional Japanese stay, which is exactly what I was looking for a one night getaway. I wasn't entirely clued up on the etiquette of slippers but the staff were incredibly helpful and patient with me when I got little things wrong ;) The location was incredible - very close to the centre of town, and yet still very peaceful and quiet at night time. The traditional Japanese breakfast was also fantastic - oishi-desu!

It doesn’t get more traditional than this place. The small garden in the back is a must see. The traditional breakfast is exquisite!
