The house was spotlessly clean Very comfortable bedding Large floor plan

A slight hiccup with the hot water but was fixed very promptly No issue really

I loved the carefully thought out interior design of the old converted house, especially the inner courtyard area, was beautiful, both from the ground and first floor. I brought my 5 year old daughter along with me and so the japanese room that could accommodate 3 futons was perfect. She also loved the wooden bathtub on the ground floor toilet.

convenience wise it is quite good, and it is near a small udon store that sells good udon. but the let down was the website didn’t state that the property was opposite a cemetery.. I’m not sure if it is a common thing in japan where houses are next to cemeteries, maybe it’s just me but I was a bit jittery during the night, but nothing happened so perhaps I was overthinking. But definitely give this place a try if you are not as superstitious as me. Given Japan, actually the cemeteries was arranged very neatly and I would not have hesitated to visit the cemetery myself in the day time.
