Great location away from the busy areas of Kyoto.
Nothing.

Everything was exceptional, we loved every bit of the Ryokan and the experience was so relaxing. We really enjoyed wearing yukata and the relaxing time in the outdoor bath on the rooftop. Thanks a lot to the staff for being so wonderful and welcoming, and to the chef for the amazing breakfasts !!
There’s nothing we disliked, but maybe you could add one or two towel racks, that’s the only thing we could say.

Beautiful Ryokan with a even more beautiful garden in quiet location, and at the same time a good location for Kyoto sightseeing. Rooms in Ryokan style but still comfortable to sleep. Nice add on: open air whirlpool on the roof.

Very nice reception area. Rooms area spacious and the bathroom has all the amenities. Rooms are very clean. We enjoyed the private onsen on the top floor. Staff was cordial.
The only “minus” is the location. The area is nice and quiet, but a little bit too far from the major attractions and to downtown. However, bus station is close by.
