The property was super cool, authentic and yet modern. All amenities necessary for the stay, even to cook a quick breakfast. It was really spacious and clean. Perfectly accessible by multiple modes of transportation and yet really close to walk to so many attractions around Kyoto in all directions. Perfect stay.
The property was listed as a 2 bedroom, but it was really all one room. The bathroom with shower had the only mirror in the entire house and it was tiny. And there was nowhere to hang towels. These were not major things, just a little awkward for a few days.

Great location close to Gion and the metro
The property was too small for a family of 4 and very tired and run down for the price paid. The traditional furnishings were quaint but impractical for a small family.
