스스키노역에서 가까운 편이고, 주변에 쇼핑센터, 지하마트 등이 있어 편리하고, 시설이 깨끗함. 2층 대욕장 앞에 무료 아이스크림도 있고, 자판기, 코웨이정수기가 있어서 물을 안사도 될 뻔했음. 1층에서 편하게 음료수를 마시는 공간도 만들어 둔 것도 좋음. 대욕장이 크지는 않지만 사용하기 좋았음. 조식당 테이블당 간격이 좁고, 인원대비 식당크기가 작아서 음식을 가지러 다니기에 불편함. 조식맛은 괜찮은 편임.

일본 호텔이 그렇듯 방 크기가 작은 점 빼곤 없음.

Everything was incredible. Toru-san was very accommodating and friendly, and also a genius for making the machiya so beautiful and charming. The design of the machiya was absolutely brilliant, and every tiny detail had been thought of. Toru even provided us with tea and snacks, which we were very grateful for after long days exploring Kyoto. The bedrooms were very cosy and comfortable, and the bathroom and sauna were just perfect for a soak and a relax at the end of the day. I could go on forever about how excellent the machiya was, but there's only so much you can fit into a short review! "さんきゅうそうまちや! "
