Very cold room, uncomfortable second bed but easy to go to the city center

The access to the city center is very easy, and there is a market and a supermarket very very easy, and both of bathrooms were great, and the price for Dublin is great.

the second bed on room 1 was extremely uncomfortable and the room itself was extremely cold, and there was no way of turning on the heating. I asked to turn on the heating and they told me to do it on the kitchen, and it JUST DOESN’T WORK. Heating on a country like that its not luxury, it’s necessary.

Nothing it was horrific

There was no parking, hence false advertising, was not €10, pay and display for 3 hours at a time Security cameras inside the home which was not specified which made me uncomfortable. Shared bathroom for 8-9 people, there was a queue in the morning Horrid stench in kitchen, with a rusty unhygienic toaster and disgusting hob Looks nothing like the ad whatsoever Owner was rude on the phone Really old bad condition bedsheets Wallpaper was all off the walls Broken toilet lid and wasn’t flushing properly Bathroom was inside the kitchen and the bathroom was so small that toiletries were in the small kitchen. Door half painted Dining table had 3 seats and tiny dining table Mattress was horrid and felt like it had rocks inside Fire alarm had no cover and all active wires were showing If I could attach more disrespectful pictures I would Of the horrid conditions we were forced to spend a night in. Rooms for my family were apart with one upstairs and one downstairs rather than giving rooms side by side separating my family

Don’t set high expectations for your stay

The place was fairly well located, only a 15 minute walk to the centre which was great. It’s cheap in comparison to the rest of Dublin, but that doesn’t make it good value for money. You get what you pay for, good for young people who are only going to be there to sleep and shower.

The place was filthy. The water in the shower changed from scalding hot to freezing cold every twenty seconds. The guy working (I believe he may be the owner?) was hoovering the hall at 11:30 PM. The bed was very uncomfortable, I couldn’t tell if the duvet and sheets had be washed prior to staying.

As soon as we arrived at the indicated time (even a little later), our room was given to another person, the staff did not want to figure it out. Also the heating does not work. It was terribly cold, it was impossible to be without a coat. Warm water is a rarity, it is only in the shower. Washing hands, washing or washing dishes with warm water is unrealistic. When we turned to the owner of the house to solve the problem with heating, he ignored numerous requests, not only ours, but also all the guests. Also, only one of the two toilets worked, the second was completely clogged and stank terribly. I do not recommend.

Worst accommodation in memory.

One shower for the entire house means always waiting for the bathroom, which was always dirty, puddles on the floor, dirty shower stall. The thin walls forced me to listen to neighbours on either side snoring and coughing all night. Every door slams, every key turning sounds like an explosion. Night sounds probably similar to in the big prison across the lane. Staff were banging and using power tools at 10:45 at night. Pealing paint and plaster made a grim atmosphere. Front door handle fell off. Staff, rarely present, were hostile and mocking. One spoke no English, dominating the only common area, the kitchen, stalking around hollering into his phone. For 126 Euros per night this was a terrible accommodation.

big house big rooms quick to walk to city centre, bit dated tho, expect to wait to use the 1 shower

very good location for north inner city Dublin. You can walk to O’Connell St. and the GPO. The house itself is very big, big rooms and plenty of furniture and nice hot shower, fully equipped kitchen. It’s pretty cool. Interesting and diverse co-inhabitants.

There’s only one shower room for the whole house (6 rooms!) and you had to wait practically every time to use the shower room. The furniture, deco etc is okay but a bit dated and look used. No staff onsite, so you if your phone is dead etc you can’t get hold of anyone but yeah, so you need to be pretty self sufficient.

Uncomfortable (lumpy bed), old bed clothes / duvet. Slept on top of the bed. Noisy - doors slamming, was I sharing with a herd of elephants? No signs up asking for quiet. No staff present!

Good public transport connections and city center is about a 30 minutes walk. Mater Hospital is around the corner, so in case of an emergency, I'd expect an ambulance in no time.

There are 2 toilets and 1 shower for 6 rooms. The upper-floor toilet has a bin for the used toilet paper... The Mater Hospital is close, so you have sirens all day long. The bed frame (fabric) was very dirty. The bed clothes were very old (but freshly washed). You could hear not only your next-door neighbours but also the ones downstairs.

Long black hairs on my pillow

9 minute walk from bus stop which suited us perfectly for catching an early flight, comfy bed and pillows, staff were helpful and understanding when we caused a breakage and didn’t overcharge us. Cheapest accommodation we could get in Dublin on a Saturday night at late notice.

Although I was relatively content at first with the stay despite the worn decor, peeling wallpaper and tiny room because of the (relatively) reasonable price, my partner let me know after we left that he had to pick long black hairs off the pillows before I got there. Disgusting. I have no problem with small rooms or shabby interiors as long as the room is clean, and it wasn’t.
