The room was nice and spacious. We enjoyed the Hour glass on our 1st night.

The menu in the Hour Glass needs updating. We have been to this hotel for over 10 years and its pretty much the same plus the standard of food isn't great. What really disappointed us was having to pre pay for meals on our arrival. We were under the impression on the Saturday night we would eat in the restaurant, which was confirmed on our arrival on the friday. We came down at 5.55pm on the Saturday to see the restaurant wasn't open until February. This was not said to us on arrival and we wouldn't of pre paid for a 3 course meal if we knew this. So our stay was disappointing because we didn't receive what we paid for.

Great hotel, always guaranteed to deliver.

Rooms very comfortable, from the smallest to the biggest, I've stayed here many times. Staff are the friendliest, nicer than the big chain hotels which do have nice staff, but it's the personal touches which make the difference. Food is fantastic, especially the breakfast, one tip is to buy breakfast when checking in as they do it a little cheaper!

The staff were lovely. A really nice atmosphere in the hotel and bar where we ate. Beds were very comfortable.

When we arrived room was cold. We rang the main desk and they resolve the issue very promptly and changed our room.

We stayed just for an event we were going to in Blanchardstown so only really slept in the room, it was very comfortable. I liked the fact our room had a shower and a bath as I love baths and my wife loves showers and we could get ready at the same time

Hit and Miss.

The room was clean, the hotel had good facilities and the staff were helpful.

The “double bed” was 2 single beds pushed together, but they weren’t even the same type. One mattress was significantly harder than the other, making the middle of the bed very uncomfortable. The kettle also didn’t work and the water for the shower & bath was lukewarm at best.

Location, ample parking. Nice welcome, nice beds and shower

Food is good in restaurant and bar. Service miles better in the restaurant. I was embarrassed as a hospitality provider to witness the food service in the bar area. Nobody cared and I mean nobody. Dined solo and I witnessed other diners being served the same way. Sort it out, food is ok.

Overall, a really lovely and memorable stay that I would happily recommend

Breakfast was absolutely amazing and fantastic value – the best I’ve ever had at a hotel by far. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the layout of the rooms was lovely. The bathrooms were spotless and beautifully kept, and it was such a nice touch having a separate shower and bath. Overall, a wonderful stay."

Only downsides were that the bar was quite small with limited seating, and there was no swimming pool. Other than that, it was a really enjoyable stay.

Vending machines & Bed

The hotel was fantastic the room was so spacious and the bathroom was fantastic would I stay here again yeah I definitely would the staff was lovely and the restaurant to eat in was absolutely fantastic couldn't say nothing bad about the food really nice.

The only thing I did not like was the vendor machines you had to use your card and spend €20 to get out what ever you wanted they refunded your card again for the rest of the 20 euros you didn't spend but you'd have to wait. The only thing I did not like about the room was the two single beds put together to make a double bed you could feel the gap in the middle of the bed.

Staff were not helpful. We were stranded at a venue during the early hours and they would not help us with a taxi number. Even though I rang a couple of times for help. Somebody also came into our room at 5.30am said ‘sorry’ when they realised it was occupied and left again.
